The Good for Nothing Seventh Young Lady Chapter 1491 – The First Battle (Chapter 3)

Chapter 1491 – The First Battle (3)

The people of the Long Xuan Empire all laughed. If this were seriously the case, then the damage that this battle

would bring them would be minimal. Except for The Rising Sun City, they would get all the cities in the eastern

region in a complete state.

The people of the other three countries were gloomy. And just as they were preparing to open the gate to take over

the city…

An earth-shattering sound of gunfire sounded in an instant.

The more than seventy artillery on the walls of Del City launched an attack at the same time!

The rumbling noise was like a series of thunderous strikes.

Artillery shells coated in flames dropped from the sky out of the blue, and madly rushed to the alliance of four

countries crowded outside the city walls!

The soldiers of the four-nation alliance were caught off guard. How could they have imagined that this Del City,

which seemed to be empty, would launch a deadly attack at this time?

The attacks of various artillery shells blasted directly on the ground; blazing fragments of artillery shells poured

down like rain, flying everywhere frantically, and immediately wiped out all the soldiers in its attack range!

After the shells exploded, the flames remained on the ground and did not spare these invading enemies. The fire

seemed to have been catalyzed and began to spread wildly around. Many soldiers who had no time to react were

instantly swallowed up by the flames.

In an instant, wailing voices went straight into the sky in the midst of the sound of gunfire.

The commanders of the four countries who were standing on the periphery were stunned by this scene.

“What happened? There are humans in this Del City? Damn, I thought Shen Yanxiao had already evacuated

everyone?” Elder Wen angrily pulled up the collar of the man next to him and asked viciously.

The man replied with an almost crying face, “I… I also have no idea. The spy did say that he saw everyone moving

out to the main cities. Now, except for the five main cities, all the cities are empty ah.”

“Empty? Open your eyes wide and take a look! If the city is empty, can the artillery attack on its own?” Elder Wen

completely exploded. If it weren’t for the news the spy had sent back before, how could he believe that Del City had

really become an empty city?

Furthermore, how could they let their own soldiers boldly approach the city?

“I really do not know…”

“Waste!” Elder Wen kicked the man away. Although the maximum attack range of the artillery was limited, it could

shorten the scope of the attack. The troops of the Lan Yue Dynasty and the Seven Kingdoms were right under the

city walls and so instantly became the best targets of the artillery attacks.

More than seventy artillery shells were being shot continuously, which was like a nightmare for the soldiers under

the city walls!

In less than five minutes, thousands of bodies were stacked under the walls of Del City, after which the blazing

flames ruthlessly swallowed the bodies and burned them.

The surging heatwaves wrapped Del City, just like a human purgatory.

Del City’s counterattack did not stop. Ten seconds after the launch of the more than seventy artillery shells, the

second attack followed. The continuous, high-intensity gunfire directly hit the armies of the Lan Yue Dynasty and

Seven Kingdoms, making them wail like ghosts and wolves.

Jiang Wan narrowed his eyes and looked at the artillery shells that were far more powerful than any other artillery

shells.

“Those shells are partly filled with kerosene.” This was the reason why after the shells exploded, the flames would

spread around frantically.

It was just that Jiang Wan could not figure out how these shells were built in the end? Such an idea was not

something other forgemen couldn’t come up with, but until now, no country had succeeded in doing it.

But Shen Yanxiao had actually done it?
