Chapter 769: Big Pot of Noodles

Everyone was shocked and looked at Jian Ai with respect.

What kind of idea was that?

How smart was she to think of such an idea?

Even Sun Dasheng and the leader couldn’t help but smile when they heard this.

“These children have so many ideas,” the leader said with a smile.

Almost everyone brought drinks. Be it plastic bottles or cans, they could be used as bowls if they were cut open. They just had to be careful to not hurt their mouths.

Guan Tao cooked the noodles herself. She mixed a few bags of instant noodles with the Liyang noodles and cut a few ham sausages along the side of the pot. Then, she used a little soy sauce to increase the flavor. The saltiness increased the flavor. Coupled with the seasoning bag that came with the instant noodles, an alluring fragrance immediately drifted out of the pot of noodles.

Not long after, they could eat.

Guan Tao used two washed branches as chopsticks. As she served everyone, she said, “Everyone, there’s no hurry. If there’s not enough, I’ll cook another pot later.”

The first pot of noodles ran out fast. So, Guan Tao added water to the pot and prepared to cook the second pot.

These students were usually used to eating delicious food, but they were eating exceptionally well with a bowl of noodles in their hands. Guan Tao kept smiling when she saw this, as if watching others feel satisfied because of her was her greatest satisfaction.

“Yiyi, why aren’t you eating?”

Li Yunmei returned to the tent with the noodles but saw Jian Yiyi eating chocolate alone.

Jian Yiyi couldn’t help but show a disdainful expression when she heard this. However, she deliberately lowered her voice and said, “You dare to eat it? It’s so dirty! How much dust will be left in the cooked noodles in the wilderness? There are also people who use tree branches as chopsticks. Aren’t they afraid of germs…”

Li Yunmei did not mind. At this time, it was good enough to have something to eat.

Moreover, the noodles cooked by Guan Tao were indeed delicious. Everyone was eating happily. However, Jian Yiyi’s seemingly unintentional ridicule made it difficult for Li Yunmei to eat it.

Jian Yiyi seemed to be determined to pull Li Yunmei to stand with her. She immediately said, “Xiao Mei, stop eating and listen to me. What if you get a stomachache from eating this?”

Li Yunmei: “…”

Looking at the noodles in her hand, she really wanted to eat them.

After thinking about it, she still felt that she shouldn’t waste food. “Yiyi, I’ve already scooped them out. It’s a waste not to eat them. I’ll eat this bowl.”

Without waiting for Jian Yiyi to say anything, Li Yunmei lowered her head and started eating.

Jian Yiyi couldn’t help but gulp when she heard that sound.

After a while, Jian Yiyi turned around angrily and thought to herself, ‘Useless thing.’

As a big star in the future, she definitely could not touch such coarse-grained food. Only those migrant workers would eat pot noodles.

Other than Jian Yiyi, there was another person who didn’t eat Guan Tao’s food, and that was Yu Mengyao.

She sat outside the tent and ate bread. She didn’t look at the others or join in the fun. She just sat there expressionlessly and ate alone.

After feeding the students, Guan Tao, Jian Ai, and the rest finally sat down and started eating.

“It’s all thanks to Guan Tao,” Qinghuan said with a smile.

The others nodded in agreement. From digging the stove pit to cooking noodles today, it was all because of Guan Tao. If not for her, these people might have starved.

Guan Tao didn’t take credit for it. When she heard this, she smiled and said, “It’s all because everyone worked hard together. I just came up with an idea. These things look difficult for you, but if everyone worked together, we could finish them quickly.”
