Chapter 750: Change the Ingredients

Jian Yiyi walked among the students and pretended to be busy.

However, when all the students were busy, her incomplete posturing was especially conspicuous.

Xia Qinghuan didn’t like her. She immediately said bluntly, “Jian Yiyi, what are you doing? Taking a walk by the lake?”

This voice was neither loud nor soft, but everyone heard it.

Everyone looked at Jian Yiyi.

Jian Yiyi was stunned as well. Seeing this, she quickly put on a careful attitude. “Ah, I just want to see if there’s anything I can help with. I don’t know what to do.”

“Everyone has work on their hands, and they’re learning everything that they don’t know. Even if they don’t know how to skewer, they can at least peel corn, right?” As she spoke, Xia Qinghuan carried a basket of corn to Jian Yiyi and said, “Peel this basket of corn!”

Jian Yiyi didn’t dare to refuse. Fortunately, Xia Qinghuan didn’t ask her to do meat skewers. She immediately nodded. “Alright, I’ll handle the corn.”

Xia Qinghuan was annoyed at her pretending to be weak. She immediately rolled her eyes in her heart and turned around to deal with the green peppers with her classmates.

At this moment, a boy from Class Two next door suddenly came to Class One.

“Hello!” The boy was fair and clean. As soon as he arrived, he greeted everyone loudly. He did not look as reserved as his appearance.

The students looked up when they heard this. As the monitor, Xia Qinghuan naturally had to take the initiative to stand up. “Hello, classmate. What’s the matter?”

Although Xia Qinghuan did not know him, there was no one in Year Two who did not know Xia Qinghuan. When the boy saw Xia Qinghuan, he quickly smiled and nodded slightly. He said, “It’s like this. I’m the class monitor of Class Two. My name is Sun Yong. I want to use the ingredients you don’t have to exchange for some mutton skewers. Is that okay?”

Xia Qinghuan was stunned. “Don’t you have mutton in your class?”

Sun Yong smiled embarrassedly and shook his head. “No.”

As if afraid that Xia Qinghuan wouldn’t agree, Sun Yong quickly said, “We won’t exchange a lot. Just a little. What do you think?”

Xia Qinghuan was in a difficult position. Although she was the class monitor, Jian Ai and the rest had snatched the mutton from the competition. She could not make the decision to change them with another class.

“Wait a moment. I’ll ask around for you,” Xia Qinghuan said.

Seeing that there was a chance, Sun Yong quickly smiled and nodded.

The other students naturally heard Sun Yong’s words, so Xia Qinghuan asked Jian Ai, “Do you want to exchange them?”

Jian Ai walked to the classmate who was making mutton skewers and squatted down. “How many skewers can we make with this basin?”

Guan Tao was more experienced and said, “There should be over two hundred skewers. The meat chunks aren’t big, so we can skewer more.”

Jian Ai nodded and made an estimate in her heart. Then, she said to Qinghuan, “Alright, since he took the initiative to come over, we shouldn’t eat alone. There are two basins of mutton. The amount is enough, but we can’t exchange too much.”

Xia Qinghuan: “He said to exchange a little.”

Jian Ai smiled. “Alright, ask them to bring a basin over. We can’t give them the skewered meat. The mutton is the hardest to skewer. Give them an amount of meat where they can make thirty to forty skewers and let them go back to skewer it themselves.”

In the end, Class Two exchanged ten skewers of chicken wings and ten skewers of beef for forty skewers of mutton.

There were two wings on one chicken wing skewer, and ten sticks of skewered beef. Both sides were not at a disadvantage. They even increased the diversity of ingredients for their classes.
