The Good for Nothing Seventh Young Lady Chapter 1503 – Shen Yanxiao’s Crafty Idea (Chapter 4)

Chapter 1503 – Shen Yanxiao’s Crafty Idea (4)

While many soldiers had just entered their dreamland, the soldiers guarding the siege weapons were cursing at them

in their bellies.

But in the next second, a huge noise of tarps clamoring came from behind them. The soldiers turned their heads

around and looked at it with annoyance.

The result of this one glance, however, made them let out a collective scream!

“Ahh!!!!”

Hundreds of screams suddenly spread through the army camp of the Lan Yue Dynasty, and instantly awakened the

comrades who had just fallen asleep.

Qu Xun finally fell asleep with great difficulty, only to be awakened by a series of screams outside the tent. He sat

up angrily and even had no time to put on his shoes. He grabbed the sharp sword at the head of the bed and rushed

out.

In the end, which idiots wanted to be killed with thousands of knives, to actually scream inconsiderately in the

middle of the night? He must cut them all!

However, when Qu Xun went outside the tent, he was completely stunned.

The dozens of siege weapons that had been standing still outside the tent before were nowhere to be seen. The

heavy tarps covering them were softly lying on the ground, and all the soldiers looked at the empty tarps in shock

and in doubt.

“What’s going on…” Qi Xun issued a shrill scream, as if his throat were being grabbed.

“Commander… We… we don’t know, the siege weapons were still here before. We just saw them! But I have no idea

what happened, they suddenly… disappeared.” The soldiers guarding the siege weapons were almost crying.

It couldn’t be they were just imagining things, right?! Dozens of huge siege weapons had actually disappeared at the

same time without a trace? That siege weapon was still under the cover of a tarp a while ago, but the moment they

turned their heads around, the huge tarp was suddenly empty!

“Open those damn tarps for me! Open them one by one!” Qu Xun snarled at the soldiers.

The soldiers opened the tarp at once.

Under the tarp, the flatness of the ground did not show a slight strangeness, but it was also impossible to find a trace

of the siege weapons.

“How could this be? How could this be…” Qu Xun stood on the empty land barefoot, looking at the empty space

where the siege weapon were originally placed

Not to mention the entire siege weapons, even a chunk of one couldn’t be seen!

“Have people look for them! Also dig up this entire area for me!” Qu Xun panicked. He had never seen such a

strange situation before.

The size of a siege weapon was so great that it was seven or eight stories high. How could such a huge thing

disappear out of thin air?

All the soldiers of the Lan Yue Dynasty were called out. They began to search around for the dozens of missing

siege weapons. Qu Xun asked the soldiers to dig up all the places where the weapons had been placed, but except

for the black soil, there was only some rubble.

If one were to look closely, they could see some black ashes mixed in with the excavated soil. But the volume of ash

was too small, and was easily missed next to the same-colored soil.

The disturbance in the military camp of the Lan Yue Dynasty arouse the other three parties’s attention. Jiang Wan,

Shi Heng and Elder Wen were very curious about what happened to the Lan Yue Dynasty and let people inquire.

Once the news of the investigation came back, the three people were directly stunned.

“More than eighty siege weapons of the Lan Yue Dynasty are missing?!”

More than eighty huge siege weapons unexpectedly disappeared in the middle of the night. What was even more

terrifying was that the soldiers had been guarding around the siege weapons during this time and simply did not see

half a shadow of a suspicious person approaching! Furthermore, there were also soldiers actively patrolling around

the army camp of the Lan Yue Dynasty!
