Lin Yun arrived outside Lu Chen’s temporary apartment.

She looked up at the apartment building in front of her and took a deep breath.

She tried her best to avoid meeting Lu Chen, but in the end, she could not resist fate.

Lin Yun believed that if Ning Kun received the news, he would definitely be able to arrange for Lu Chen’s safety.

However, Lu Chen never believed in rumors or superstition. If she didn’t explain it to him, he probably wouldn’t listen to Ning Kun’s arrangements!

Lin Yun sighed helplessly and walked towards the door.

This apartment building was a boutique apartment in the center of Sea City. Those who could afford it were either from rich families or celebrities.

However, most of these people settled down everywhere, so the apartment building was abnormally quiet.

Lu Chen lived here under the Fu family’s name.

When Lin Yun walked into the lobby, a man in a suit welcomed her.

“Miss Lin, please follow me,” the man said respectfully.

Lin Yun was stunned for a moment before nodding slightly and following the man in.

This apartment building had a dedicated butler who provided 24-hour service.

She believed that Ning Kun had explained the situation to the butler in advance, and that was why he came to welcome her when she arrived.

Lin Yun followed the butler up to the tenth floor, which was Lu Chen’s floor.

This apartment was a single-story apartment with only one resident on each floor.

The elevator here was specially protected by a password. Outsiders could not enter easily.

The butler bowed slightly to Lin Yun at the elevator. After watching Lin Yun leave,s he took the elevator to the first floor.

Lin Yun walked towards the door on the right.

Just as she reached the door, it opened from the inside.

Ning Kun stood at the door and said respectfully to Lin Yun, “Miss Lin, you’re here!”

Ning Kun looked at Lin Yun, his eyes almost glowing.

Miss Lin was finally here.

Miss Lin had agreed to meet at 10 AM. CEO Lu had been sitting in the living room since 7 AM.

Ning Kun sighed at his poor life as an assistant. He could only wait here with his boss.

Lin Yun frowned when she saw Ning Kun’s excited gaze.

She couldn’t understand Ning Kun’s excitement and could only grin awkwardly. “Then I’ll go in?”

Ning Kun quickly led Lin Yun to Lu Chen.

“CEO Lu! Miss Lin is here!” Ning Kun said, trying his best to suppress his excitement.

Lu Chen nodded and turned his wheelchair to face Lin Yun. “Miss Lin, long time no see.”

Lin Yun subconsciously took a step back.

Lu Chen naturally noticed Lin Yun’s small action, and his expression instantly turned ugly.

Lin Yun only wanted to finish what she wanted to say and leave as soon as possible.

She took a deep breath as if she had made up her mind. “CEO Lu, if you go out in the next few days, you might be in danger.”

Lu Chen looked at Lin Yun deeply, as if he was thinking about something.

Lin Yun was afraid that Lu Chen would not believe her, so she hurriedly said, “I’ve told Assistant Ning. I have a friend…”

At this moment, Lu Chen slowly spoke.

He said softly, “Miss Lin, why don’t you sit down?”

Lin Yun was stunned for a moment, seemingly hesitating.

Lu Chen did not speak and just waited quietly.

After a while, Lin Yun nodded and found a sofa far away from Lu Chen to sit down.

Lu Chen seemed to have expected Lin Yun’s actions. This time, he did not react.

He gestured for Lin Yun to continue.

Lin Yun forgot what she wanted to say.

After a while, she said, “CEO Lu, if you plan to go out in the near future, you need to be careful.”

“Avoid hotels and clubs if you can.”

Lin Yun recalled Lu Chen’s accident.

At that time, Lin Yun did not pay much attention to Lu Chen. She could only tell Lu Chen everything she knew based on the reports in her memory.

When Lu Chen heard Lin Yun’s words, his eyebrows twitched, but he did not say anything.

Lin Yun recalled for a while before continuing, “Also, CEO Lu must be careful of someone!”

Lu Chen raised his eyebrows and asked softly, “Who?”

“Tan Qing,” Lin Yun said, seemingly hesitating for a moment.

Qin Qing was once the fiancée Old Master Lu had found for Lu Chen. If Lin Yun hadn’t come to Lu Chen’s side later, the two of them might have been engaged.

Therefore, Lin Yun felt a little awkward about the name Qin Qing.
