He knew that she was nearby, because he sensed her faint vibe that the others couldn’t sense. He couldn’t tell for sure if she would help him, but he knew that she would not take the opportunity to kill him.

Mo Yan was aware that Lin Qiao would not save him for nothing under the current circumstances. She must want something in return. Being kind couldn’t possibly be the only reason why she saved him.
