The Anomalies mostly looked like human but with one exception. His body was covered in metallic pieces and it was like he was a magnet which had rolled in a pile of metallic junk. If he squatted at the corner, the players might not realize he was a person if they passed him by.

“This man appears to be stronger than normal…” Lying Drunk’s eyes naturally fell on him. “Then I’ll deal…”

“No.” Zombie Blade Victor took out his halberd and stood in front of Lying Drunk, “His target was me so I’ll deal with him.”

“The three of you…” The metallic shrapnel person spoke then, “don’t seem to understand the situation yet…”

“Hey…” Sashimi turned his face around, “Why did you count me in…”

“Don’t worry, it’ll all be over soon…” The person said darkly. “Remember this… the person who defeated you will be me—W2-Locust.”

Then, Locust opened his arms and instantly hundreds of metallic blades showered on them like rain. Every glint was a triangular metallic lade. These blades didn’t just burst without pattern, they appeared to be moving controlled by some kind of forces. Pegasus dropped from the sky and used his most common skill to counter against W2- Locust’s skill. In several seconds, mini explosions filled the air. W2-Locust’s skill was blocked completely, the blades dropped to the ground.

“Ha ha ha ha…” With the skill used, Pegasus somersaulted and dropped to the ground and laughed in his heroic ways. “The hero is here to save the day!’

“Where did this thing come from…” Lying Drunk asked with twitching lips. From his expression, it was clear that this was not his first time meeting Brother Pegasus.

“Aiz…” Sashimi scratched his bowl cut and said weakly, “He was probably here about 15 seconds ago but he did not show up just like that but took a detour to climb up to the roof of a nearby building and then jump down from it.”

The seven Anomalies stood where they were and merely raised their arms and easily swatted the light arrows away.

“Hmph… is it?” Ambitionist laughed lightly.

Suddenly, seven consecutive explosion followed. The seven Anomalies collapsed and blood splattered everywhere. Two of them had injury on the head and they died on the spot.

Just as the players thought the danger was over, and was preparing to clean up the spot. Suddenly a flicker of shadow arrived. After a strange sound, the 5 fallen Anomalies all disappeared without a trace. Of the 10 present, only 3 knew what happened. The first was Sashimi, with his power of ‘hearing’, he was later clued in on what happened. The other two was Lying Drunk and Uncle Worthless. With their mobile vision, they barely managed to capture the enemy’s movement.

Several seconds later, a small Anomaly about 1 metre tall with bushy beard appeared before the players. He was like a Hobbit, with leather armor and chainvest. He had two daggers around his waist and a pair of goggles on his forehead.

“Humans.” J1-Quick Bell’s tone had a fairytale sing-songy feeling to it but his intonation was serious. “You give me chills…” His eyes swept the nine present. “Do you know what is the feeling looking at another species joking about while they were massacring your own kin?”

BANG!

From afar, the sniper rang again.

At the same time, Quick Bell’s head seemed to have convulsed… and blurred for that moment.

“Pfft…” Quick Bell spat out the bullet he caught in his teeth and said, “ROOT is not wrong… only death and pain will make you humans learn the value of fear and respect.”

“Run!” Uncle Worthless revealed a rare expression of fear, he shouted. “He…”
