FengJiu was holding MinFeng’s hand as they entered the ancestral house.

“Hey.. don’t be nervous.”

MinFeng smiled at her as she bit her lower lip.

“I can’t help but feel nervous. What if they won’t like me?”

FengJiu was till very anxious. Although she was already five months pregnant and everybody in the whole China already knew about her and MinFeng’s relationship, still, the approval of his family was her biggest issue.

MinFeng’s parents were both working at WHO. His father, Lu Xiao Li was the head researcher for different types of virus and its cure while his wife, Lu JingXue was the Head Pharmacist.

That was the reason why Grandpa Lu could only pass his legacy to his two grandchildren.

When they arrived inside, FengJiu’s grip on MinFeng’s hand tightened as she took a deep breath to calm herself.

“My dear granddaughter in law~ you are here!!”

Old Man Lu’s voice reverberated around the house.

Before she could move, she was immediately pulled in a bear hug.

FengJiu smiled and hugged him back.

“Grandpa Lu, Ah Jiu misses you.”

MinFeng, who was standing beside her immediately pushed his grandfather away from his wife.

The old man glared at him.

“*scoff* you’re here?”

Old Man Lu snorted.

‘This brat!! So possessive!!’

After he suffered countless of failure in MinDe’s hands, Old Man Lu cried and decided to visit his other precious granddaughter to heal his broken heart.

Unfortunately, MinFeng was more savage than MinDe. He brought FengJiu somewhere else, hiding her away from Old Man Lu.

The old man was very frustrated that he wanted to mince both his grandson into meat paste.

He was still thinking of a plan on how he could see his granddaughters in law when his beloved wife called.

Lu JingXue smiled and hold FengJiu hand.

FengJiu almost choked on her tea when she heard Old Man Lu’s shameless words.

She couldn’t help but look at them.

Old Man Lu was fawning at his wife. He was currently looking at her with eagerness.

MinFeng saw her reaction and whispered to her ears.

Xiao Mei arrived at the room and saw FengJiu wearing an off shoulder bridal gown.

Today was MinFeng and FengJiu’s wedding.

After FengJiu gave birth to Little Bump, MinFeng immediately organized everything.

Now that Little Bump was already three months old and FengJiu already recuperated after giving birth, MinFeng decided to move forward their wedding day ceremony.

FengJiu stood up and hugged Xiao Mei. She dearly missed her best friend.

FengJiu looked at Xiao Mei’s huge tummy.

“When’s the due date?”

Xiao Mei smiled and caressed her abdomen gently.

“Next week. I guess I can’t visit you later. MinDe was always freaking out like a mother hen.”

FengJiu laughed.

“MinFeng was also like that.”

Xiao Mei opened her bag and took a letter inside. Her face suddenly turned serious and sad.

“YanFei Gege… wants you to read this.”

FengJiu’s smile disappeared. There was sadness in her eyes.

It had been a year and YanFei never made appearance in front of her after he saved her from those men.
