Chapter 52: You Thief!!

“Ahhh! My lovely MinDe~ *hiccs* why-why are you here?? *hiccs*”

She hugged him like a koala. All of her limbs were firmly attached to his body.

The man’s mouth twitched while looking at her grimly.

“Why are you dead drunk?”

Xiao Mei raised her head and stared in his eyes.

“Aaa? Hihihi… *hicc*I don’t know.. MinDe~”

She was hugging him as if he was a tree.

She tried to climb upward until she reached his neck. She buried her head on his shoulder while her hands were encircling his neck to support her small body.

The man just stood there. He just let Xiao Mei act like a wilful kid.

In order to prevent her from falling, one of his arms encircled her waist while the other one supported her bum.

He did not mind that the people present inside the tent gave them a weird look.

He continued to half-embrace-half-carry Xiao Mei outside.

Xiao Mei was laughing while poking his face.

“Hahaha!! *hicc* aiyoo~ look at you~ are you *hicc* worried about me?”

He glared at her but he let her continue poking him.

Xiao Mei grinned and tightened her embrace on his neck.

“MinDe~ *hicc* I thought you didn’t care… *hicc*….I-I thought… you.. you don’t like me… Boo~ hoo~ I hate you! I hate you!”

Like a crazy woman, Xiao Mei’s emotions fluctuated.

One time she was happy.

The next time she was sad.

And then she would get angry.

The man did not pay attention to her mood swings and continued to carry her.

The man’s car was parked very far from the Market area so the man could only carry Xiao Mei and walk towards it at the end of the Market.

Many people are looking at them with interest.

He could hear giggles coming from those women who were also whispering with each other.

The man still did not pay attention to the surroundings.

He looked at Xiao Mei who was now singing ‘Mary had a Little Lamb’.

The old man looked at the woman who was clinging on his Young Master like a koala.

He was surprised to see that it was one of the ladies who he helped few days ago.

Now, the old man fully understood why his Young Master ordered him to help the two ladies.

It was because his Young Master fancied this lady.

The old man could guess that this lady would be their Future Young Madam.

When the man entered the car, he raised his hand and covered Xiao Mei’s head so she would not bump her head while entering the car.

The old man noticed his Young Master’s action but he pretended as if he did not see anything.

When the man and Xiao Mei sat inside, the old man immediately started the engine and drove the car away from the Marketplace.

FengJiu was sitting on her hospital bed with IV fluids inserted on one of her arms.

She was calling Ming Yue.

Since she could not go to work, she had to make sure that even if she was not present in the office, it would not affect the progress of their projects.

After the call, she lay down on the bed and stared at the window.

She was the only one inside the room since MinFeng left and went to the hospital’s main office to talk with the Director.

She did not know but she suddenly felt hot. Like she was in heat.

She tried to calm herself by inhaling and exhaling deep but it was useless.

She did not know why she suddenly had an urge to make love with MinFeng.

She remembered what the doctor said a while ago. He said that pregnancy disturbs the hormones. For some pregnant women, it would decrease their sexual urges while the others would increase.

FengJiu felt like banging her head on the table.

She kept squirming on the bed. She wanted to find release.

She wanted MinFeng.

When the door opened and MinFeng entered the room, FengJiu felt like screaming ‘Hallelujah!’

She immediately whined and said,

She was clutching his suit while her head was on his chest.

The man’s eyes darkened as he stared at Xiao Mei who was speaking gibberish.

He raised his hand and started to touch her face.

He did not know when.

He did not know how.

But the first time he met her, the first time she held his arm..

He felt like he was electrocuted.

When she shouted ‘You Thief!!’ at him, when she uttered her shameless pickup line, he could not help but be amused at her.

Since then, he always observe her from the shadows.

Looking at her.

(A/N: Hahaha! He fell for Xiao Mei because of that silly pickup line?!)

He stared at the old man who was in the driver’s seat.

“To the hotel.”

When MinFeng found out that FengJiu wanted to make love to him, he immediately rejected her.

He remembered the doctor’s order to avoid tiring FengJiu out.

So whatever advances FengJiu did, MinFeng was very resolute not to give in to temptations.

FengJiu could only gnash her teeth secretly while trying to seduce MinFeng.

She bit his neck while trying to open his belt.

MinFeng wanted to die on the spot. His desire to possess FengJiu right now was enough to make him go crazy.

But he resisted.

For her health.

For Little Bump’s health.

He tried to calm himself when his phone rang.

He looked at the screen.

The name blinked few times.

He immediately turned the screen off without noticing that FengJiu also saw the caller’s ID.

MinFeng left the room, leaving FengJiu who was staring at his back.

Some of you was confused why I posted ‘My Lovely MinDe’ two times in a row, right??

Aiyaa!! It was that bug’s fault!!

I posted 2 chapters–49 and 50.

Unfortunately, chapter 49 was already marked as ‘published’ in my inkstone but it was not listed on the novel, making chapter 50 into chapter 49.

So shit happened. Uhuh. I tried twice but it’s still the same so yeah.. Chapter 50 was posted twice as chapter 49.

Thankfully!!! My Lovely editor/proofreader suggested that I should post it one at a time and wait for chapter 49 to be published first before posting chapter 50.
