Chapter 20: Result

“What are you doing, huh?” She pinched MinFeng’s waist. Although she was not angry, Feng Jiu was caught off guard when he suddenly sniffed her armpit. She raised her head, wanting to glare at him when she saw a tiny speck of dust on his hair. She subconsciously reacted and reached her hand, trying to flick it away.

MinFeng, seeing the opportunity, immediately kissed her while hugging her tight. Feng Jiu’s hand that was trying to reach his hair suddenly froze and stopped moving midway.

Few minutes later, the kiss deepened. Making Feng Jiu dizzy. Unable to stand on her own, the hand that was frozen stiff clutched MinFeng’s shoulders, trying to find a sturdy support. It slowly moved upward until all of her arms were already encircling MinFeng’s neck, pulling him closer.

MinFeng’s hands were traveling all over her body. Her waist, her back, her breasts, her butt, every inch of her body was on flame.

“MinFeng….” MinFeng stopped kissing her. He stared at her while his hands were still moving perversely.

“Mmm?” Feng Jiu gulped. Trying to compose herself.

“We’re not done cleaning yet.” MinFeng started kissing her neck, not minding her words.

Early in the morning, Feng Jiu went to the office. She was feeling sulky because MinFeng did not follow his promise. He fooled her and tricked her. After they had sex for almost half a day, she didn’t have enough energy to finish cleaning the house.

She was walking wobbly towards the entrance. Her inner cave hurt so much as if someone was drilling a tunnel inside. When she arrived at her office, she immediately sat on her chair. Finding comfort from sitting.

Ming Yue entered while holding a folder. “Madam, I already gathered all the data available about the Eldest Young Master of Lu Corporation. It’s inside this folder.”

Ming Yue handed the folder. Feng Jiu’s hand shook while reaching for it. Feng Jiu tried to compose herself. She tried to stop her hands from shaking. She immediately took the folder out of Ming Yue’s hands. “Thank you. You can go out now. Prepare for the upcoming convention. Failure is not an option.”

“Yes Madam.” Ming Yue immediately saluted and walked away.

When Feng Jiu was left alone in the office, she stood up and went to the door. She closed it, not letting other people enter without permission. She slowly walked towards her table, as if she wanted time to stop so she could avoid this.

‘MinFeng… I hope you won’t disappoint me… I can’t take it if you lie to me.’

Feng Jiu opened the folder. After reading the contents, she fell on the chair. She closed her eyes. She took a deep breath and smiled brightly.

‘MinFeng did not lie.’ Feng Jiu feels like her surroundings suddenly shone. The gloominess she feels immediately vanished. Although the details regarding the Eldest Young Master of Lu Family were few and limited, it clearly stated that both men were different person.

Since her suspicions were proven wrong, Feng Jiu pushed everything at the back of her mind, focusing on her work.

After reading the result of the investigation, Feng Jiu felt like all of her nervousness and fear went away in a blink of an eye. She was busy reading a project proposal when Ming Yue informed her that she has an unwanted visitor.

“Madam.. *coughs* Sir Feng Jun is here to see you.”

Feng Jiu’s eyebrow rose.

‘Second Uncle is here? What is his purpose coming here to see me?’

Towards this uncle of hers, Feng Jiu really didn’t have any ounce of good feelings nor any love as one of her relatives. Like a white-eyed wolf[2] he was eyeing the power of Feng International and coveting the Chairman position of the company.

A small knock in the door made Feng Jiu return from her senses.

“Come in.”

A middle-aged man slowly walked towards her.
