Ge Xuan was rambling on in anger when a bowl was suddenly slammed on the table. It made a huge noise at once.

“I’m nobody and your family’s past or future has nothing to do with me either. Not that I’m interested in it,” Yun Jian replied.

She took a pause as her gaze took a sharp edge to it; there was an irresistible resolution in her piercing eyes.

“But the person you insulted just now is my mother! I don’t care about your family affairs but there’s no way I’ll let you insult my mother!” Yun Jian spoke with emphasis on her words, each syllable leaving her lips commanding submission.

Even Ge Junjian had felt like speaking up for Yun Jian. Others might not know it but he was well aware of the several identities Yun Jian carried currently. More importantly, she was the boss of the internationally famed Gu Sha Mercenaries!

How could the mother of Gu Sha Mercenaries’ boss and the top secret agent in the world, Slaying God, be someone in need of money?
