The next day…

“Goodmorning Auntie~!” With a beaming aura, Ethan Lu greeted Lillian Yang with a bright smile.

Wearing only his gym outfits, he didn’t mind to show himself to Lexi’s parents as they had already witnessed his worst state. Moreover, his relationship between them was much more stable than his relationship with his relatives.

“Ethan!” Seeing the refreshing and cheerful vibe that Ethan emitted, Lillian Yang welcomed him with a satisfied smile. She invited,

“Come in, are you here for Lexi?” Assisting Ethan to the grandiose living area, Lillian and Ethan sat opposite each other.

“Oh? Ethan, it’s good to see you.” Frederick Yang who came out of nowhere greeted with a subtle smile before he strode to the main head seat.

“Good Morning Uncle, sorry for coming uninvited early in the morning.” Ethan Lu politely bowed as he spat his apologies.

“It’s fine, Ethan. We’re glad that you’re doing fine and see you here again.” Lillian reassured with a smile as she prepared the tea that the maid served.

The atmosphere surrounding the Yang mansion was more warm than ever with Ethan’s presence. Surely, the Yang parents lowkey dotes on Ethan for Lexi. After all, in their perspective, he’s doing a great job diverting their daughter’s attention away from Morris Liu. Moreover, he’s indeed a good and cheerful child that clicked perfectly with Lexi’s elusiveness with men.

As the ‘family’ of three enjoyed their tea with a little catching up, Lexi appeared gaped at this scene. She doesn’t understand but whenever Ethan was around, it’s as if her parents treated him as their own and totally forgets about her!

Furthermore, why is he there? She did sent him her almost empty schedule last night but he never said he’d pick her up.

“Why are you here?” As a greeting, Lexi came like a thunder to break the peace of the three. Currently, she was wearing a fitted black sweatpants, a black jacket and a black duffel bag that clung on her shoulder.

“Chichi~ he was pursuing your parents to get approval chu~ morning Mr. Main task chu~!” Churu giggled as she teased Lexi before flying in front of Ethan and saluted her morning greetings.

Seeing that her only comrade sided with the three, the corner of Lexi’s brows twitched.

“Dearest, why are you so loud early in the morning?” Lillian Yang with her usual motherly tone uttered by Lexi’s exaggerated reaction.

“She complained to me last night that she’s fat, Auntie.” In a whisper, Ethan rat her out which made her mother chuckled with glee. On the other hand, Frederick Yang and Churu silently chuckled as well.

“Hehe, I came because I’m your trainer.” Ethan shamelessly announced which shocked Lexi to the core.

“Trainer who?” She retorted in dismay. He insisted last night that he knew the best trainer for her to lose fats in days but never in her imagination that the person he talked about was Ethan,himself!

“Uh huh,” Ethan nodded with a grin.

Late last night, Lexi sent her schedule and also told him that she’d hire a trainer for her routine. However, the trainer she talked about was a man! How could he let that happen?

Fortunately, she was transparent enough to tell him that beforehand as Ethan lu could sabotage them in an instant. Also, he found his grandfather’s advice quite suspicious and unreliable.

Recalling about Edward Lu’s suggestions, Ethan didn’t want to think about it as he knew Lexi too well.

His grandfather told him; don’t contact her and you’ll see she will miss you — however, if Ethan Lu did take that advice that only works with others, he was certain that he’ll never hear a word from her! After all, they wouldn’t even talked if Ethan didn’t contact her first!

“Let’s go burn some fats!” After some time, Ethan brightly grinned as he proposed. He had never been this excited for a workout but with Lexi as his company, Ethan Lu was satisfied for some unknown reason.

“Will you explain why are we here?” Arching her brows, Lexi cast her dissatisfied gaze on Ethan who was stretching his shoulder.

Currently, they were standing outside the yang mansion and not inside the gym. Moreover, Ethan Lu demanded for her to run outside instead on the treadmill.

“This is the safest place to avoid scandals eh? Also, we can relish the fresh air — cost efficient right?” Ethan winked as he was done stretching. He added,

“Don’t worry, I’ll accompany you. I’m your trainer after all, let’s start! Chop chop.” Ethan jogged on the same place as he encouraged the complaining lady.

“Fine,” rolling her eyes, Lexi quickly stretched her neck in a circular motion then shoulders. After all, what Ethan said was partly made sense.

“Go, go,” Ethan announced which made her feet get moving. First walked then turned into a jog.

On the other hand, Churu flew down and got her two little feet on the concrete ground. She pested Lexi last night asking for a gym outfit as well.

However, Lexi couldn’t make small outfits in a whim, hence, she only gave her wrist band that she placed around Churu’s forehead.

Though it wasn’t enough, Churu was still satisfied that at least, she still looks like she’d workout and somehow, it gave her a motivation to lose fats as well.

“Alright, chu~!” The little dumpling copied Lexi’s warm up before she jog making her flabby fats wiggle and bounce.
