The Mysterious Heiress: Researcher In Disguise Chapter 584 – Transfer – Chapter 2

Chapter 584: Transfer – 2

Director Liu walked up to Ji Feiyuan.

The atmosphere in the hall was tense.

Although they knew Director Liu was on their side, it was just that he could not do anything to the people from Hang Yuan due to his status as the director of No.1 High School.

They all were certain that he was going to apologize to them. After all, Hang Yuan was about to leave.

When the thought appeared in their minds, they all lowered their heads in dejection.

Director Liu did not know what they were talking about. He just looked apathetically at Ji Feiyuan and said, “Mr. Ji, both of us are directors for our schools, and I don’t think you have any say in how I should manage my students.”

The students in Class 21 were stunned .

This was something out of their expectation. After they thought for a few minutes straight, they all began to shout and scream in joy.

“Way to go, Xiao Liu!”

“Xiao Liu, you’re the best!”

The support the students of No.1 High School showed to Director Liu felt like a slap in the cheek for Ji Feiyuan.

His entire body was shaking with rage as he hissed, “I’m just giving you advice. If my student does something so disrespectful, I will punish him severely!”

“Alright, alright, keep that for yourself. Besides, I didn’t see you punish your students as well when they cheated in the basketball game, so stop acting so high and mighty in front of me,” Director Liu replied.

“Do you have any idea what you’re talking about, Director Liu? Do you know that I can bring charges against you for slinging mud at me?”

“Slinging mud at you? You’ve got a lot of nerves to say that after what you’ve done to my students. Besides, do you think I don’t know that you’re trying to poach my students?”

“What do you mean by that, Director Liu?”

“Oh, so now you’re playing the dumb game? Do you really think we have no idea what you’re doing behind our backs?” Director Liu said, “Let’s just be honest to each other, Director Ji. We pick every single student in No.1 High School by ourselves, and we’ve never failed in doing our job to educate them. If you really like one of our students, you could’ve told us. Why must you ask Mu Chenxi to help you pouch our students?”

Ji Feiyuan opened his mouth, but he did not know what he should say.

Director Liu had a lot of work to handle, so he did not want to waste his time on Ji Feiyuan. Besides, his students still needed to prepare themselves for the final examination, so he asked some people to bring the people from Hang Yuan away and went back to his office. After that, he asked all his students to go back to their own class.

After all, Hang Yuan was doomed to fail, so they did not have to waste their time on them. Director Liu then waved his hand at Fu Zhi and said, “Come with me. I have something to tell you.”

Fu Zhi nodded and she walked past the bunch from Hang Yuan expressionlessly.

—

When Fu Zhi realized they were going towards a grove not far away from the hall, she was stunned.

She stopped in her tracks as she studied Director Liu up and down quizzically.

Director Liu was walking in the front. When he noticed that Fu Zhi had stopped walking, he turned his head around. When he saw her gaze, he soon understood everything. He ran his hand over his head and said, “We need a quiet place to talk! Don’t get me wrong. I’m married, and you don’t deserve me at all. Besides, even if I’m still single, you’re not my type, so you don’t have to worry about anything!”

Fu Zhi did not know what to say.

‘I’m sorry, but I have a boyfriend too.’

That said, Fu Zhi was not going to tell Director Liu that, for she did not want to get into any trouble.

After they had arrived at the grove, Director Liu said in a stern voice, “The school authorities are having a meeting right now to discuss the thing that’s happening to Class 1. I just want to know about your opinion on this incident.”

“Class 1?” Fu Zhi then remembered the bet she had with Class 1 and Qian Wenrui.

“Xiao Liu, do you finally realize Class 21’s potential, and you want me to cancel the bet with Class 1?”

“No… I’m not talking about that.”

Director Liu did not believe that the students in Class 21 could turn into new leaves overnight. He then continued, “Several school board members just came to a meeting on the seventh floor. Principal Ouyang is there as well. The main content of this meeting is to discuss the students in Class 1 and Class 2. Most of them want to transfer to another school, and they have already written their transfer applications.”

“So isn’t this something you should be dealing with?”

In other words, she did not understand why Xiao Liu wanted to tell her about it.

Director Liu was speechless. He cleared his throat and said, “Yes, and we have to do our best to persuade them to drop the thought. The school authorities are already working on this, but most of them refuse to listen to us. This is because they feel I shouldn’t have punished Mu Chenxi.”

No.1 High School arranged their students into their classes according to their results, and the first two classes were known as the elite classes. That meant the top 100 students in this school were basically in Class 1 and Class 2.

Right now, most of the students from Class 1 and Class 2 wanted to transfer to another school, and it was a great loss to the school.

It was not something that Director Liu could handle, so he contacted the school board members.

“Then, good luck on keeping them,” Fu Zhi said flatly.

“But—” Director Liu said, a hint of hesitation in her voice, “If we want to keep them, we have to fulfill their demand, and they demand He Ming to give them extra classes as well.”

Fu Zhi looked at Director Liu like she was asking if he was joking with her or not.

Director Liu felt those students were joking with him as well. That said, he still had to try his best to keep those students. “All of the school authorities want to have a meeting with you.”

“Have a meeting with me? For what? To force me to do what I don’t want to do?”

Director Liu said, “You’re really smart, do you know that, Fu Zhi?”

“I’ll take that as a compliment,” Fu Zhi said. She pulled her phone out to send a message before saying, “Lead the way, then.”

—

In the meantime, inside the meeting room on the seventh floor.

Other than the school board members, there were also some parents inside the meeting room right now.

All of the parents had ugly expressions sitting on their faces.

“We won’t give up until He Ming and his group decide to give our kids extra classes. When our kids enrolled in your school, you’re the one who told us that you would invest all the resources in our kids!”

“Even if Fu Zhi’s the one who invited He Ming and the others, why can’t my kid attend their extra classes?”

“What’s wrong with my daughter refusing to perform? Why should my daughter waste her time doing the opening dance? If He Ming and the others don’t give my daughter lessons together, I’ll take my daughter to another school!”

“No.1 High School really likes to play favorites, and Fu Zhi, how could she be so vengeful? Her grades are good, yet she still joins Class 21. Not only that, but she also hired a group of professors to give her classmates extra classes! She’s really the most vicious girl I’ve ever seen!”

“I heard that she also forced our kids to have a bet with Class 21? How are our kids supposed to win when students in Class 21 are receiving extra classes from a group of professors?”

“…”

This was the first time something like this happened ever since the establishment of No.1 High School. The school board members could not do anything but try their best to calm the parents down. “We’ve already contacted Fu Zhi and asked her to give students from Class 1 and Class 2 a chance to receive extra classes from Professor He Ming and his group. We will certainly give you all an appropriate explanation, so please hang on for a moment.”

“Alright, then! Let me tell you something. Our kids are the top 100 students in your school, so there are plenty of schools out there that want to receive them. If you guys can’t give our kids fair treatment, we’re leaving your school today!”

“Don’t worry. We’ll certainly give you guys a satisfying answer,” the school board members said.

—

Right now, Fu Zhi and Director Liu were inside a room next to the meeting room.

She heard their conversation, but there was no expression on her face.

The school board members came out of the meeting room and entered the principal’s office.

Each of them took a seat, while Fu Zhi was sitting in front of them.

They all looked at each other, but they did not know what they should say.

In the end, the tallest of them opened his mouth and broke the silence, “Fu Zhi, I believe that you’ve heard of the entire story. Although this is not fair to you, for the sake of the school… Can you please let the students from Class 1 and Class 2 attend the extra classes with Class 21?”

We still have some seats left in the hall. Even if there aren’t any seats left, we can let students from Class 19 and Class 20 leave first.”

“Mr. Han is right. Although your class might have some misunderstanding with Class 1 and Class 2, we’re willing to be the middleman and help you guys to solve the problems between you. You’re a good girl. I’m sure you can understand us, right?”

There was no expression on Fu Zhi’s face. She looked apathetically at them, and Director Liu couldn’t help but wipe the cold sweat off his head.

She turned to look at Director Liu and said, “Xiao Liu, they want to attend the extra classes, right?”

Director Liu nodded.

“Then go and tell them, I’ll not let them attend the extra classes. If they want to transfer to a school in the capital, go ahead. If they want to go to the Wu Family’s school, I’ll suggest they pick another school. After all, Hang Yuan is going to close soon.”

Director Liu’s expression changed. “Did you hear something from the Wu Family?”

“Not really, but the Wu Family has wasted a lot of money at the stone gambling festival in Myanmar and they owe my family plenty of money as well. Without sufficient funds, do you think they still can keep their school running?”

“Those parents won’t believe in you if you tell them that the Wu Family is going down.”

“That’s their business. If they don’t believe in me, they can leave.”

“Leave? Do you have any idea what you’re talking about? Do you care what would happen to No.1 High School after those students transfer to another school? Do you care about our school’s enrollment rate?

Director Liu kept darting glances at them, but they gave him no mind.
