The Mysterious Heiress: Researcher In Disguise Chapter 467 – It’s Not The School’s Responsibility When A Father Is Beating His Son

Chapter 467: It’s Not The School’s Responsibility When A Father Is Beating His Son

Raptor was crying loudly in the restaurant.

Fu Zhi squatted down to check him out, but Raptor thought Fu Zhi was going to stab him, so he screamed and shouted anxiously, “No! No! I’m going to die! I’m going to die!”

“Stop yelling,” Fu Zhi hissed, “If you don’t stop yelling now, the blood of the wound on your waist is going to dry up.”

“If you don’t mind me asking, what’s that supposed to mean?” Raptor asked.

Ye Jiu scoffed and added, “She asks you to stand up and walk for 2 steps if you’re not injured.”

Fu Zhi then led Raptor out of the restaurant.

Lu Yumo wiped his mouth with a paper towel and asked Song Fang, “Is the poem I recited not good enough? Why doesn’t she respond to it?”

Song Fang sighed, “Well, she’s a writer. Maybe she’s worried that we might overtake her as the new literary giant.”

“You do have a point,” Lu Yumo nodded, “Anyway, make sure you don’t get Zhizhi’s invitation card dirty. The jade buckle looks expensive, and Zhizhi will surely sell it.”

—

In an alley outside of the restaurant. Raptor told Fu Zhi the purpose of coming to Yu City. “Daddy, I’m really not here to give you a hard time. The Ouyang Family hired me to find out the location of the shop owner, so I’m just a wage earner who works for money.”

‘Ouyang Ya hired someone to investigate me?’

Fu Zhi frowned. She did not expect that the Ouyang Family would do this to such an extent just to take advantage of her.

She stood in front of a window and fell into deep thought. Then, she said, “You will go back to the Hacker Alliance tonight. I will get someone to forfeit the mission. As for your compensation, I will…”

“It’s okay, daddy. It’s just a small loss,” Raptor said as he waved his hand. “I can still afford to lose this money, so you don’t have to use your pension fund to compensate me!”

Then, he pulled out his computer and said, “Erm, daddy, your virus is a tad strong, and I can remove it. Since I’m your son, can you do me a favor and help me to remove it?”

Fu Zhi was speechless.

‘He’s so chatty.’

That said, she still nodded and agreed to help. She took his computer over and typed a few codes into it. Then, the computer gradually calmed down.

When she thought about the money that Raptor was going to pay, her attitude towards him changed. “I’ve invented a few new viruses, and I heard that you guys are going to take part in the international competition this year right? I will send you the concept of these viruses later.”

“!!!” Raptor was stunned.

It took him quite some time before he regained himself and found his voice back, “Thank you, daddy! You’re the best, daddy! I love you, daddy!”

“Since both of us are from the Hacker Alliance, it’s normal for us to help each other,” Fu Zhi said, “Just don’t forget to give me money if you really love me.”

‘Alright, then,’ Raptor let out a sigh of relief. Then, he asked, “By the way, daddy, will you be coming to the gathering of the Hacker Alliance this month?”

“I have to go to Myanmar at the end of the month, so I don’t think I will make it. Besides, don’t tell anybody about me,” Fu Zhi answered.

Raptor responded by doing a zip gesture across his mouth to tell Fu Zhi that he would keep his mouth as tight as a jar.

Fu Zhi and her group then returned to the school.

Inside the alley, Raptor’s phone rang. He answered the call and D’s excited voice erupted, “Hey, brother, I can see from my side that your computer has been fixed. I’m so f*cking awesome! I just simply press a few buttons and your computer is fixed! I don’t even know which buttons I have pressed!”

“You don’t know?” Raptor replied emotionlessly, “I think I know which button you have pressed. The pretentious button!”

D was stumped.

‘What did he just say?’

“What do you mean by that, huh?” D asked, “Are you asking for a fight?”

If it were normal time, Raptor might concede defeat, but today was different.

Siren was his daddy, so there was nothing to be afraid of.

“Alright, stop yapping like a duck. I will be going back to the alliance tonight. By the way, I injured my waist, so help me to make an appointment with a doctor. I will go to get some medicine from the hospital first.”

“Sure, but you haven’t told me what the hell is going on with your computer yet.”

“Well, I’m not sure if you would believe it or not, I’ve offended Siren, and she’s the one who…”

“Beep—Beep—Beep—”

D hung up the call before Raptor could even finish his sentence. Then, he sent a voice message to Raptor, “I’m sorry, but I guess we have to say goodbye to each other now. Don’t look for me, don’t call me, and don’t text me. From today onward, we’re strangers.”

Raptor was stunned.

*

A little bird told Ouyang Ya that Raptor had been admitted into a hospital.

Right now, Mu Chenxi was standing in front of her with a teary face. When Raptor called her, a serious expression dawned upon her delicate face after she picked up the call.

“You’re at the hospital now? What is going on?

“Okay, I get it. I will go there right away,” Ouyang Ya hurriedly asked a few questions and hung up the phone with a gloomy expression.

Seeing her expression, Mu Chenxi hastily went up to her and asked, “What’s the matter? Do you need me to go with you?”

“What’s the matter? Hah, Raptor is at the emergency department right now,” Ouyang Ya squinted her eyes and scoffed coldly, “This is interesting. That Fu Zhi just won’t give us peace of mind.”

“So it’s Fu Zhi who beat him? Isn’t that a good thing? Our school has strict rules, and she can get expelled for fighting in school.”

“Do you still think that your school will do something to restrain Fu Zhi? The so-called school rules are never meant to control those good students in the eyes of the school authority!”

“Then what should we do now? We can’t just keep letting her get her way.”

‘What should we do? Nothing!’

Fu Zhi was supported by Li Nanli and the last thing Ouyang Ya wanted was to sow discord between the Li Family and the Ouyang Family.

She did not say anything back to Mu Chenxi. She just took her bag and went out of the room.

Since Mu Chenxi needed her help, she followed after Ouyang Ya without thinking twice.

*

Inside the emergency room.

Raptor was doing the magnetic therapy on the bed, smiling and giggling like a fool as he stared at his phone.

When the doctor saw Ouyang Ya and Mu Chenxi, he went up to them and said, “You guys are his family, right? Well, the good news is his waist is fine, but the bad news is that there’s something wrong with his brain, so I suggest we perform a CT scan on him.”

This was not the first time Fu Zhi got rid of the people that she brought.

Ouyang Ya took a deep breath and replied, “Thank you, doctor. I need to talk to the patient first, and then you can bring him to do a CT scan.”

After the doctor had left, she sat on the chair beside the bed with a guilty expression on her face.

“I’m sorry, Raptor. It’s all because of me that you end up like this. I didn’t expect that Fu Zhi would be so audacious to beat you! If you hadn’t come to Yu City, you wouldn’t have come across her. No matter what, I will help you to get an explanation from No.1 High School!”

Upon hearing what she had said, Raptor got up from the bed and said, “Explanation? Can you please use that little, rusty brain of yours and think? Have you ever seen a school step in and stop a father from beating his son?”
