Qi Qiming’s eyes darkened. His hand movement halted as he stared at Qi Lei.

“Do you still hate me?”

Although things looked better for the father and son lately, Qi Qiming could sense the rebellious attitude from Qi Lei, especially since their conversation at his office the last time. Their relationship quickly turned cold again and Qi Feng was unwilling to even see his father.

“What’s the point of hating you? What do you want?” Qi Lei was alerted.

As Qi Qiming’s expression darkened, he seemed strained.

“If that’s the case, I might consider forgiving you and be your nice Second Master Qi.”

“Qi Lei, you’re rash. Unlike Ah Feng’s calm and careful manner, you might not be suitable to handle Qi Kai. Moreover, you’ve always been the unrestricted type. However, Qi Feng and I can’t be brothers.” Qi Lei paused before putting on a cold smile. “You should know that better than anyone else, so why are you lying to yourself? You probably know what’s going to happen from here onwards too. Qi Kai can only exist with one of us. Well, I don’t really want to have anything to do with you anyway.”

“Why are you doing this? Do you know that your behavior is equal to betraying Qi Kai?” Qi Qiming asked coldly.

Qi Lei smiled and threw the documents back to Qi Qiming as he sighed. “Don’t act like it’s all unbelievable. I’d think that you’d be angry if I were still the same as before.
