All in all, Yan Shuyu was extremely confident about her instant son. She only felt bad for her poor self that had to juggle multiple roles.

As opposed to Instructor Lin who has yet to show up, Zhou Qinhe, who hadn’t showed up in front of her for over a week, had been appearing more in her life. This big boss, who had a million things to worry about at work everyday, had not only asked to add her on Wechat, but had been messaging her on and off.

But Zhou Qinhe wasn’t just any CEO. As the father of the male lead, he should have been a positive character. He was, after all, on the male lead’s side. But the connivance of this boss man no doubt put many other villains to shame. If  Zhou Qinhe could do all those things, Yan Shuyu must say that instead of him being interested in her, it’d make more sense to say he was more interested in her instant son.

This was her being self-deprecating. Yan Shuyu was very confident in herself. The problem being that the series of actions from the boss man just didn’t seem very much like he was trying to court her.

Naturally, she wouldn’t expect someone standing on the top of the pyramid such as Zhou Qinhe would turn into a puppy who followed her around, but there were still things that one should do when they were courting a girl – like talking to her on a regular basis, send her flowers from time to time, or ask her out to dinner, etc.

Yet what have the boss done so far?

He has sent her a total of 3 messages in the last 10 days. The first one said he had a good time. She replied with “good night” and that was it.
