The Indifferent Young Master's Flash Marriage Chapter 654 – Bang My Head Against The Wall

Chapter 654: Bang My Head Against The Wall

The high priest’s gaze was as still as the sea, but also as if there was a little bit of starlight floating about.

She shot a meaningful glance at Diya. “It’s more serious than you think.”

Faced with the high priest’s god-like insight, Diya felt a little guilty at first, but on second thought, no matter how powerful the high priest was, it was impossible for her to read minds.

Then, what was the matter that the high priest was referring to?

Could it be that Su Wan, that woman, thought that she would rely on her child’s status after giving birth, and started to show her displeasure towards the Emperor?

She really did not want to live long enough.

Diya frowned, and very modestly wanted the high priest to say a little more.

“I don’t understand the high priest’s meaning. Can you explain it more clearly?”

The high priest was a little impatient, but she still kindly pointed out a way for Diya.

“You can ask the doctor from before.”

Diya did not expect the high priest to remind her like this. She nodded her head in surprise, but before she could thank her, she suddenly saw the high priest’s face turn cold.

“Diya, no matter what you hear, remember not to lose your grace. I intend to nurture you. I hope you won’t disappoint me.”

Compared to Su Wan, she was more willing to let Diya stand by the side of Jiang Xuecheng.

The successor she was looking for must not be swayed repeatedly for a woman, and he must not let anyone become his weakness.

Diya saw the high priest’s stern expression. She had been trembling with fear earlier, and she listened in fear and trepidation. In the end, she actually heard the high priest say that she wanted to “nurture” her.

Was It what she thought? To help her be with the emperor?

A blush appeared on Diya’s face. She could only nod repeatedly to show that her respect came from the bottom of her heart.

“Thank you, high priest. Diya will definitely not let you down.”

The high priest gave Diya a secretive glance. She extended her hand and patted Diya’s shoulder. A smile with an unknown meaning appeared on her face. Then, she quickly walked out of the hall.

After seeing the cold-looking woman leave, Fiennes, who had been silent all this time, finally walked to his sister’s side.

“Diya, even the high priest has left. Let’s go back.”

“Brother, why are you in such a hurry to chase me away?”

As she spoke, displeasure appeared in Diya’s beautiful eyes.

“You heard it just now. The high priest said that Su Wan’s mistake was more serious than you imagine. Do you think that the child in her belly is…”

Diya did not know that her guess was close to the most correct answer.

But before she could finish, she heard her brother suddenly growl, which scared Diya so much that she shivered.

“What nonsense are you thinking about!”

Fiennes looked at Diya coldly, his deep voice was filled with certainty.

“If that’s the case, do you think that the high priest and the emperor would allow Su Wan to stay here safe and sound?”

Diya pursed her lips helplessly. At the same time, she felt even more resentful in her heart — Su Wan was just an outsider. What right did her brother have to protect her so much that even someone as cold-hearted as His Highness was mesmerized by her…

“I’m just casually making a guess. Brother, why are you so agitated? I also know that it’s most likely not the case. However, the high priest said that we can ask the doctor. Why don’t you accompany me to ask?”

Diya kept shaking Fiennes’ arm. Fiennes could not dissuade her. Thinking of the high priest’s previous hint, he decided to bring Diya to the doctor.

With him watching, it was better than letting Diya stay here and mess around by herself.

…

The female doctor who had treated Su Wan earlier was shocked when she saw the siblings, Diya and Fiennes, asking about Su Wan’s fetus.

After all, they were both people that she could not afford to offend, so the female doctor reported the situation truthfully while trembling in fear.

“Miss Su is indeed pregnant. According to the results, Miss Su is only at the sixth week of pregnancy, and the fetus is not very stable yet…”

A six-week-old child?!

Diya’s body suddenly stiffened, and her beautiful eyes were filled with disbelief!

At that time, the emperor and Su Wan did not know each other, right?!

“Oh my God!” Diya almost cried out in shock. Her heart was then filled with ecstasy!

Fortunately, Fiennes pinched Diya hard and only then did Diya regain her senses.

Fiennes’ shock was no less than Diya’s. However, his thoughts were deep. In addition, the high priest had previously instructed Diya not to lose her grace. He immediately guessed what the high priest meant.

Fiennes reluctantly waved his hand at the female doctor with an arrogant expression.

“Alright, we understand. You can leave now.”

After the female doctor left, Fiennes let go of Diya’s hand. However, Diya did not feel any pain at all. The ecstasy in her heart was getting stronger and stronger!

That woman, Su Wan, was really audacious. She actually dared to publicly make the emperor a cuckold. This time, no matter what, Su Wan would die without a grave!

The high priest and His Highness had let Su Wan stay here safely. It was probably just to conceal the truth from the others?!

“Brother, look, I actually hit the nail on the head! You actually dare to like such a promiscuous woman?”

Diya was gloating as she pushed Fiennes. She viciously pouted at the ward where Su Wan was in, her expression filled with disdain.

Her rival in love was courting death, and the high priest had publicly expressed her goodwill. At that moment, Diya had regained all her confidence. She was as proud as a peacock.

Fiennes’ blue eyes flashed, and he was still in shock.

Su Wan actually…

This was really out of Fiennes’ expectations. The high priest and His Highness did not seem to have thought about how to deal with Su Wan, which made him feel puzzled again.

“Brother, why don’t we go and see your li-ttle-sweet-heart?”

There were only the two of them in the corridor at the moment. Diya’s words became more and more unbridled, even with a strong sense of sarcasm.

Fiennes’ face darkened a little. He should have refuted Diya’s words and let her speak with a sense of reason. But now, Fiennes was completely immersed in shock and temporarily forgot about it.

The siblings walked to Su Wan’s ward one after another. Fiennes pursed his lips and finally raised his hand to knock on the door.

Su Wan lowered her head, thinking about what had happened before in a daze. Her lowered face looked pale and lifeless.

When she heard the knocking on the door, she thought it was the doctor who came to change the drip.

Su Wan did not even raise her eyes. She only spoke casually.

“Please come in.”

When Fiennes and Diya came in, what they saw was Su Wan’s dazed state.

Not far away, Su Wan was wearing a hospital gown. Her long raven-black hair flowed loosely on her shoulders, and her face was so pale that not a trace of blood could be seen.

“Ha, Su Wan, if I were you, I would bang my head against the wall right now and die then to not come out and embarrass myself!”

Diya raised her chin proudly, just like a peacock with its tail on display.
