Si Bai’s young mind was blown away.

Engagement…

He had a faint idea what that meant.

However, if he was to get engaged with a baby boy, was he going to call the latter “husband” or “wife”?

Si Bai felt that his life had just lost meaning.

“Bwaa… eee…” Pepsi made some noise, then extended her plump baby arms toward Si Bai.

“What does that mean?” Si Bai was confused.

An Xiaxia explained, “I think that means ‘I want you to carry me around.’”

But Si Bai was a baby himself and Pepsi would be too heavy for him.

Si Bai blushed even harder.

His future “husband” had made a request!

Hm… as a proud little man, he couldn’t give up without trying!

With the help of his mother, Si Bai jumped down from his children’s seat and went up to An Xiaxia with a deadly serious look on his face. “Auntie, allow me!”

An Xiaxia was dumbfounded. After some hesitation, she handed Pepsi to Si Bai.

It was a laborious task for Si Bai, but Pepsi was having great fun. She wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him on his cheek.

All the parents witnessed Si Bai’s face turn scarlet red…

He had been kissed by his future “husband”…

That was the only thing that echoed in Si Bai’s head.

Still thinking that he was holding Cola, the brother of the twins, in his arms, he gritted his teeth.

So what if this was his “husband”? He didn’t mind at all!

The two families had a great time dining together that night.

An Xiaxia liked Si Bai a lot. She kept mentioning him on their way back home.

Sheng Yize only smirked.

Was that little boy seriously thinking about taking his baby girl’s hand? In his dreams!

Sheng Yize had deliberately made Si Bai think that the baby he had carried around was Cola. That little brat couldn’t be into boys, could he?

Mr. Sheng rode on the wave of success and praised himself for his quick wit.

–

On the other side.

Mrs. Si was asking her son about his thoughts on Pepsi. “What did you think of the blind date today?”

With his hands behind his back, Si Bai walked beside Mrs. Si like an elder, but he didn’t say anything.

“Why, you weren’t happy about it? Alright, then.”

The kids were way too young to feel anything now.

They could try again after the kids were a bit older.

The night breeze was cool and the stars and the moon were a little dim. Si Bai’s baby voice rang out beside her. “I was very happy about it.”

He looked away uneasily after those words, leaving Mrs. Si dazed on the spot. She then gave him a teasing smile. “Oh my, Little Bai, you’re actually… shy!”

–

An Xiaxia posted Si Bai’s picture in the chat group and Fang Shanshan and Su Xiaomo practically drooled all over their screens.

“Shit! Leave the young man to me!”

“Xiaxia, go tell him: the aunties here will wait until he’s old enough!”

Pffft…

These two had no shame whatsoever.

Su Xiaomo was the most talkative one, but she disappeared from the conversation without warning.

[Princess Shanshan]: Why, where’s Momo?

[Mighty Lord Xiaxia]: Hahaha! I bet Dr. He has plans for her!

The He family home.

Su Xiaomo was escorted to the bathroom by He Jiayu, who told her in a serious tone, “Get washed and go to bed.”

“Cutie, it’s only nine o’clock,” Su Xiaomo pleaded, holding onto the doorframe. “I’m not sleepy at all…”

He Jiayu said indifferently, “Keeping early hours is good for your health.”

… Good, my ass!

Turning on the shower, Su Xiaomo washed herself absentmindedly.

Outside, her phone began to ring. He Jiayu didn’t want her to miss anything important, so he picked it up for her.

A wild and careless voice came from the other end. “Hello? Baby Mo, you finally picked up!”

He Jiayu’s grip on the phone tightened.
