Their plane landed at a private estate.

A butler in a black suit and white bowtie welcomed them politely.

The houses were designed in a European style with glamorous decor and elegant arches. In the distance, they could make out an enormous ancient castle.

An Xiaxia was dazzled by everything she saw here. A couple of minutes later, a familiar figure walked out of that castle. “Xiaxia! You’re here!”

“Wait, why are you here?”

Chi Yuanfeng ran happily to her side. “Brother said you were coming and I’ve been waiting for you! You’ll be under my watch here!”

He wanted to welcome An Xiaxia with a warm embrace and kisses on the cheek, but Sheng Yize elbowed him away immediately. “She’s married now. Watch your manners!”

Chi Yuanfeng scratched his head. He had been abroad all the time lately and had forgotten that people didn’t hug or kiss in greeting back home.

Ahem … it was all that girl’s fault!

“Hello, Uncle Sheng, Auntie Sheng!” A pretty and adorable girl scampered in their direction. She had nice features and looked about 20 — what a youthful age.

An Xiaxia didn’t see that coming. Was he leaving now?

She couldn’t bring herself to let go of his hand. Lowering her head and sulking for a while, An Xiaxia finally said in a dispirited voice, “Have a safe trip.”

“I will.” Sheng Yize kissed her on the forehead and turned to leave. He walked away in large strides, as if he was afraid that he wouldn’t be able to leave at all if he stayed any longer.

“Auntie, you and Uncle are such a loving couple!” Fang Shanshan said in an envious tone. She was obviously the type that made friends very easily and was already holding An Xiaxia’s hand while chatting with the latter.

Her enthusiasm dispelled An Xiaxia’s bad mood and the two got along very well.

After showing An Xiaxia to the room they had prepared for her, Fang Shanshan suddenly beamed at An Xiaxia mischievously. “Auntie, look!”

Lying on her palm was a little glass bottle filled with a green liquid.

An Xiaxia recognized it right away: it was green menthol oil!

“Auntie sounds so weird. Just call me Xiaxia.” An Xiaxia smiled. “What are you doing with that oil?”

Besides them, Chi Yuanfeng shuddered all of a sudden. The hair on his back stood up when he recalled a funny video which Fang Shanshan had watched a couple of days ago!

“You know what? Xiaxia, get some rest. I still have some errands to run and I’m off!” Chi Yuanfeng fled the scene promptly, running faster than a rabbit.

Fang Shanshan smiled sweetly, but An Xiaxia thought she could see a pair of devil’s horns popping out of the girl’s head…

As expected, Chi Yuanfeng was soon brought back by a bodyguard.

“Little Fengfeng, be a good boy~” Fang Shanshan said in a cajoling tone, while Chi Yuanfeng scrambled away and hid behind An Xiaxia.
