The Good for Nothing Seventh Young Lady Chapter 592

“That,” a little mercenary suddenly raised his hand, Du Lang looked at him. The mercenary was a little nervous yet still managed to say, “I want to ask, if just in case one will go, can they pay the commission first?”

“This…” Du Lang looked at Shen Yanxiao, Shen Yanxiao slightly nodded.

Du Lang then answered “Yes”.

The mercenary gave a silly smile as he grabbed his head in embarrassment.

“As long as the commission is paid first, then that will be enough. We don’t know how long we’ll stay there… At least I need to give my family enough money.”

Du Lang asked at once:

“Do you agree to go?”

The mercenary said, “Huo Xiao is our brother -ah no, little sister, our little sister is in trouble, how can we, the older brothers just stand by and do nothing? Besides, when we were in our difficult times, Huo Xiao gave us a lot of help. That’s why I wish to go…”

Shen Yanxiao was surprised by his words.

She did not expect, that short time at the Mount Ku Luo would let these mercenaries see her as their real comrade.

Although she was here today to invite the Cave Wolves Mercenary Corps to join her on her mission, she still knew how terrible the idea of entering the Barren Land was for an ordinary person.  Although she was certain that there would not be any large-scale battle with the demons, these mercenaries did not know about it.

For them, once they entered the Barren Land, they must fight endless monsters.

Yet, they could still nod their heads despite knowing they would face such a danger. This was…

Very rare.

Shen Yanxiao’s gaze became much softer. She really was not mistaken, this mercenary corps was really a bunch of kind men.

Once that mercenary opened his mouth, the other members of the Cave Wolves Mercenary Corps also expressed their wishes. Almost everyone agreed that Du Lang should take over this task.

Only a few people who had family members were a bit hesitant. They were the only people in their family who was earning money. If they leave, what would their parents do? But after Du Lang confirmed that Shen Yanxiao would pay a large amount of compensation in advance, these people also agreed.

The discussion went so smoothly that Du Lang felt surprised.

“Since everyone agrees, then it is decided.” Du Lang smiled and looked at Shen Yanxiao, he waved at her to come.

Shen Yanxiao walked to Du Lang’s side under the watchful eyes of all the mercenaries at one side. She looked at this group of honest mercenaries that warmed her heart.

“Thank you for your support. I promise to give you 100,000 gold coins before we set off.” Shen Yanxiao smiled.

[TL Sky: This is brought to you by all the rich family in the Imperial Capital besides the five great clans. How is that the people still don’t know how to trace the money or that a certain person going on spending spree is unknown.]

The 100,000 gold coins made all the mercenaries foolish.

One hundred thousand gold coins?

Even if they were to work hard for their whole lifetime, it would still be not enough to earn this amount of money.

The lives of mercenaries like them were not worth the money. Most of the time, they would already risk their lives for several hundred gold coins. Now with 100,000 gold coins, they could not even dare think about it.

Yet, Shen Yanxiao had generously promised such amount before all of them.

This meant that the expenditure alone would cost nearly 10 million gold coins!

Apart from Shen Yanxiao, they could not think of any other employers who would be able to drop 10 million gold coins as a commission for a mid-sized mercenary corps.

“Little Huo’er, with your words, it’s enough for these brothers to stake their lives ah!” Vicious Wolf laughed heartily.

Other mercenaries also joined and laughed.

Soldiers die for their close friends!

Barren Land?

They had an outspoken and straightforward employer and loyal comrades, what was there to fear?

They would only need to fight with everything they got!

Shen Yanxiao smiled and looked at the excited mercenaries. Ten million gold coins might not be a large number for her, but she knew what it means for these mercenaries.
