The Good for Nothing Seventh Young Lady Chapter 2197 – Guild Problems (Chapter 2)

Chapter 2197:Guild Problems (2)

Shen Yanxiao devoted herself to the creation of sacred tools, which made Gege Lu quite depressed.

As dwarves, alchemists throughout the entire Alchemist Guild were almost always studying the creation of mechanical puppets and humanoid machines.

But Momo Xiao, the only guild member with an unusual flame apart from himself, never built mechanical puppets or anything like that. Instead, she spent all day studying those fist-sized little balls.

Gege Lu sort of wanted to cough up blood.

He had seen her reading so attentively before, and he thought that she had realized the true essence of something. As a result…

Looking at the small iron balls he had taken back from Shen Yanxiao, Gege Lu’s heart was dripping blood.

He could see that they were sacred tools, but few dwarves would like to use such things on Storm Continent. The rare metal used by Shen Yanxiao during this period of time could be said to have consumed the last stock of the guild. Gege Lu didn’t care that much about that, but the problem was…

If Shen Yanxiao continued this practice, the guild would really have no rare metal to provide in the future.

“Do you want me to talk to Momo Xiao, sir?” Pipi Ka’s status in the guild was not low, and he was well aware of the difficulties the guild faced. During this period, in order to replenish the metal stock within the guild, the president had sold two three-star mechanical puppets he had been reluctant to part with.

“No. As the president, how can I possibly do such a thing as disturb the members’ experiments?” Gege Lu vetoed Pipi Ka’s proposal.

The sacred tools Shen Yanxiao made were flawless, and although she gave them all to the guild… Gege Lu and others could not sell these things!

The value of sacred tools in the Storm Continent was really low and pitiful. Basically, every alchemist could create it. Moreover, dwarves preferred the gigantic mechanical puppets for strengthening their combat ability over sacred tools. There really wasn’t very much demand for them.

High investment, zero profit. The Alchemist Guild could really not bear this.

Gege Lu felt useless. As an alchemist, no matter what alchemy product was created, it was the individual’s freedom. He had no right to reverse the consciousness of alchemists and force them to do what they didn’t want to do.

This was a guild that provided a good environment for alchemists, not a business.

“Wait a minute. I still have some things to sell. Take them for sale and then bring some rare metals back. I think Momo Xiao has begun to make superior sacred tools. Her progress is really amazing. As the president, I should support her.” Gege Lu’s belief was simple. No matter how poor the guild was, it could not be a reason to delay the progress of its members’ research.

“In a while, the funding from the capital city should come. By then, we ought to have an easy time as well.” Gege Lu said.

Pipi Ka remained silent. No matter what Gege Lu said, he knew that the amount of money sent from the capital city to the Alchemist Guild was not enough to guarantee even the most basic research to its members.

Gege Lu said that only because he wanted to reassure himself.

At the corner of the living room, Shen Yanxiao stood in the same place. She did not expect that her research during this period of time would bring such a great predicament to the Alchemist Guild, and what was more, she could not believe that the finances of the Alchemist Guild would actually be like this.

Shen Yanxiao looked down at the superior sacred tool she had made in her hand, and her eyes narrowed slightly.
