The Good for Nothing Seventh Young Lady Chapter 216

Chapter 216: One-sided (2)

Although Xiao Yan’s talents were extraordinary, she was still a newbie in the Archer Branch. Not even a week had past since she came to the archer branch yet she dared to challenge another student! Xie Yun really wanted to grab that stinking brat and beat her up for acting so recklessly. Even if her talent was extraordinary, that student Wan Li had undergone archery training this past few years even before she entered Holy Roland School. Challenging others out of nowhere was really just…

If it wasn’t for Xiao Yan, this stinking brat had said that she was going to stay off-campus, Xie Yun was afraid that he had long beaten her to death in the dorm earlier and had already pried open the kid’s head to see exactly what was going on in her mind.

After looking around, Xie Yun still wasn’t able to find the figure of Shen Yanxiao in the crowd. Wan Li, who stood at the side, was actually very prudent in giving his greetings to him, but he was nevertheless indifferent and didn’t pay him any attention.

As time passed, other challengers  had already began their competition. Still, the figure of Shen Yanxiao couldn’t be seen in the entire shooting field.

Wan Li’s expression wasn’t good. Before, he didn’t care about whether Shen Yanxiao would show up or not as the result would be the same anyway. However, now that Xie Yun had came to participate, he wanted Shen Yanxiao to quickly come so that he could end her magnanimously, while showing off his own elegance.

“That brat must be thinking of running away because he’s afraid, right?” Wan Li clenched his teeth and somewhat anxiously looked towards the entrance.

The others students present also had the same train of thought. They had also heard about the freshman who wasn’t  afraid of death. He was only a student of the red class but actually had the courage to challenge the elite purple class. In addition, it was also rumoured that he bought a bow worth of 3 million gold coins. This rumor really made the group of teenagers very eager to see the appearance of Shen Yanxiao.

Just when everyone thought that Shen Yanxiao was too afraid to show up, a petite figure unhurriedly appeared at the entrance of the shooting field.

Her thin body was wrapped under the red robe and behind her back hung a dark purple bow. The huge bow and her petite figure formed a sharp contrast. There were a lot of people who wondered, if that bow were to be hung upright on its rack, would it stand even taller than the one who was holding it?

“You’re finally here.” Wan Li breathed out a sigh of relief,  eyes flashing a fierce look.

Very good, he would take advantage of this idiot and show off in front of Xie Yun! He would let everyone know that he was the strongest among the new students!

Xie Yun finally saw the naive little kid. Looking at the calm expression on Shen Yanxiao’s face, he secretly wiped away his cold sweat.

This boy looked really calm. Do he have any idea what he was about to face?

Xie Yun was very worried. He thought that Shen Yanxiao was overestimating herself and that once she knew that her talent paled in comparison to Wan Li’s, it would make such a huge blow and directly destroy the youth’s self-confidence.

But now that both sides had  arrived at the shooting field, even Xie Yun had no reason to stop the competition.

He could only secretly pray that the little kid’s mental endurance would be strong enough that she wouldn’t be discouraged by the failure.

It could be said that among all the people present, no one believes that Shen Yanxiao would win over Wan Li.

The same was true even for Xie Yun who acknowledged the talent of Shen Yanxiao.

How could he match him with such a large disparity in strength?

Meanwhile, in some shady corner, four animals in cahoots had fixed their attention to a certain small figure and began their shameless discussion.
