The Good for Nothing Seventh Young Lady Chapter 2048 – The Ancestor of the Undead’s Acknowledgement (Chapter 2)

Chapter 2048: The Ancestor of the Undead’s Acknowledgement (2)

Shen Yanxiao arrived at the rst oor of the inn and immediately saw Kehr sitting there.

“Congratulations. This time your students won again.” Kehr rose to his feet and congratulated Shen

Yanxiao with a smile.

“Thank you very much.” Shen Yanxiao responded with a smile and took a seat.

“What’s the matter?”

“I know you haven’t been to their matches, but this time I want to tell you that the rules of the competition have changed completely. Previously, students were warned to take care not to overdo their actions, but now, it has become a real ght. It’s really lucky that the members of the Flaming Red Squad can come back intact.” Kehr had long been accustomed to Shen Yanxiao’s ‘asking others to work but doing nothing herself’ manner of handling things. As the main person in charge of this competition, Kehr would be present in every match, but he had never seen Shen Yanxiao in the venue. This time, he felt that Shen Yanxiao had not gone again, so she would not know the change of the rules.

“Yes.” Shen Yanxiao smiled silently. She knew; how could she not know? Today, she saw the competition from the beginning to the end, and she knew better than anyone how good her group of naughty brats

was.

“In the top eight competition, except for your team and the Royal Academy’s team, the other six groups suered heavy casualties. The other two winning teams withdrew directly from the competition, and the selection directly jumped from four to two teams and the nals will be held in ve days.” Shen Yanxiao’s calm behavior convinced Kehr that Shen Yanxiao did not go to the competition today. Because as long as one had seen the matches today, no-one could not be shocked.

Watching a group of teenagers ght to the death in the competition, one could see the grief and struggle vividly reected in them. That kind of stimulation would not let anyone remain calm.

“Why did the rules change all of a sudden?” Shen Yanxiao had always been curious about why the competition rules would change in the middle of the match today. If those were the rules from the beginning, she would not have been surprised at all, but the change obviously started in the second half

of the rst match.

Shen Yanxiao had always believed that the selection competition was held because the Ancestor of the Undead wanted to gather a new batch of elites before the war began.

But now the change in the rules of the competition had completely overturned this possibility.

No one would want to lose their potential strength in this kind of selection competition. Not one of the top eight teams was weak. Even the students who lost to the Flaming Red Squad before, the Spectre

College, was a group of elites. With a little training, they could become a very threatening team.

Kehr sighed and said, “That’s what my Lord wanted.”

Shen Yanxiao slightly raised an eyebrow.

Kehr continued, “Today, my Lord came to watch the competition, but soon after the rst match began, he announced that he wanted to change the manner in which the matches were played.”

What was the plan of the Ancestor of the Undead in the end?

Shen Yanxiao felt even weirder.

Was there even such a self-damaging ruler?

Apart from Spectre College, which had confronted the Flaming Red Squad, there were a lot of deaths on the other defeated school teams. Many members of the other two victorious teams had also died in battle. This move, this constant loss of elites, it was really hard for Shen Yanxiao to understand.

It must be known that those who could enter the selection competition were the top students in each school, and the top contestants were selected from among thousands of these top students. As long as they concentrated on training for a period of time, their battle strength would be far better than that of of other soldiers on a battleeld.
