The Good for Nothing Seventh Young Lady Chapter 1746 – Devil Energy (Chapter 2)

Chapter 1746 – Devil Energy (2)

Vermillion Bird dragged the little golden dragon before Xiu.

Xiu stretched out his hand toward the little golden dragon and the latter shrunk his neck, trembling.

The cold palm was gently placed on the head of the little golden dragon. The little golden dragon trembled like the autumn leaves in the wind and his pair of big tearful eyes looked at Vermillion Bird with loss.

Vermillion Bird chose to ignore him.

A wisp of divine power was transmitted from Xiu’s palm to the little golden dragon’s head, then it spread all over his body.

As time passed, Xiu’s expression changed slightly. He slowly retracted his power and moved his hand away from the little golden dragon’s head.

The nervous little fellow suddenly jumped at Shen Yanxiao subconsciously, seized Shen Yanxiao’s sleeves as he shuddered, and bit his lip while looking at Xiu.

“What’s wrong?” Shen Yanxiao looked at the strange little golden dragon and asked softly.

The little golden dragon said, still trembling, “Hurts…”

It hurt?

The divine power of the gods was a favorite power of the dragons. It should not cause them any pain, but rather would make dragons feel very comfortable.

But why did the divine power of Xiu make the little golden dragon feel pain?

“He has devil energy in his body.” Xiu looked at Shen Yanxiao and his eyebrows wrinkled slightly.

“Devil energy?”

“Devil energy is the innate aura of the devils. Whenever they want to control the demons and the demon beasts, they will release the devil energy from their bodies to exert deterrence to the demons and the demon beasts and let them obey their orders. This golden dragon’s body is filled with a lot of devil energy. The devils have a special tool to check someone’s devil energy. The undead has always been a follower of the Devil Race, and it is impossible for the undead to not have a tool that can trace the devil energy. Since the rebellious dragon has joined forces with the undead, he is probably using the special tool from the undead to locate the little golden dragon.” Xiu’s expression did not look too good. Even though he was still in a soul state, if there were devil energy around him, he should not be unaware of it.

But he had never felt anything unusual about the little golden dragon before.

Creatures beset with the devil energy were more or less abnormal. Apart from the creatures of the underworld, even the undead would suffer tremendous pain when they were covered by devil energy.

The little golden dragon, however, was no different than before.

“The devil energy in his body has fused with his self. This power has already integrated with his blood and bones. If I hadn’t explored it with my divine power, I would not have been able to detect it easily.”

“Did Long Yan do it?” Shen Yanxiao looked at the little fellow hiding beside her in shock.

Xiu shook his head.

“He was born with it.”

“How is that possible? The dragons and devils are not friendly to each other at all. Moreover, the passage of the underworld to the surface was already sealed even before Doudou was born.” Yang Xi could not accept this explanation. The devil had disappeared from the world for a long time. Before that, the little golden dragon was still a dragon egg. Furthermore, just after hatching, he was forced to run everywhere for his life. There simply was no chance to meet a devil.

Xiu was silent for a moment before he slowly said, “The red dragon before said that this golden dragon’s mother had been seriously injured by a devil general.”

Shen Yanxiao was stunned.

“As far as I know, the strength of devil generals is only inferior to that of Satan. Even if Long Miao is an eight-winged golden dragon, once injured by the devil energy, it would be very difficult to heal her. If she were injured by the devil general, a large amount of devil energy would remain in her body. During the period when she gave birth to a child, the devil energy in her body would naturally be transferred to the dragon egg.” Xiu half-narrowed his eyes.
