The Good for Nothing Seventh Young Lady Chapter 1717 – Merfolk Attack (Chapter 1)

Chapter 1717 – Merfolk Attack (1)

Merfolk?” Shen Yanxiao was stunned. The Merfolk lived in the deep sea, but the ocean was so

vast that no one knew exactly where the merpeople lived.

“They are a dicult bunch, but as long as we don’t provoke them rst, they won’t come to bother

us.” Qian Yuan was really not concerned. Merfolk were a little too fragile compared with the

Dragon Race.

Shen Yanxiao looked pensive. She turned her head around; a hundred meters behind her was

the ocean. It was totally unexpected to her that at the same time she found the location of the

Dragon Race, she would also discover the habitat of the Merfolk. If the trip this time was smooth

enough, maybe her next stop was the home of the merfolk.

“Little Xiao, if you want to negotiate with the dragons about sending troops against the Devil

Race, you should rst return to our territory. This matter must be decided by Her Highness Long

Miao, who can then nd the other eight-winged golden dragons to negotiate.” Qian Yuan said. On

the way, as they ew across the sky, Shen Yanxiao had already told him that the Devil Race was about to reappear.

Qian Yuan also loathed the Devil Race very much. However, he was only a four-winged red

dragon and his words amoung the Dragon Race didn’t have much weight. If they wanted to invite

all the dragons to participate in the battle, an eight-winged golden dragon who had authority

should personally come forward.

“Good.” Shen Yanxiao nodded her head.

Just as they were ready to continue their march towards the interior of the Hidden Dragon

Continent, a sound of sea waves came from behind them.

The crowd turned around and looked at the shore only a hundred metres away. Suddenly there

was a huge wave that was ten metres high. In front of their eyes, it poured down and covered the

whole coastal area. The gravel and trees on the coast were attened by the wave in an instant.

Very quickly, the gigantic sea wave began to rush forth towards Shen Yanxiao and the others.

“Not good! It’s the merfolk!” Qian Yuan’s face slightly changed; he immediately reached out to

throw Shen Yanxiao and others on the back of one of the two-winged sky dragons, while he

himself quickly jumped on the other sky dragon.

The two dragons took o a second before the wave swept over them, avoiding the impact of the

waves.

“The merfolk are attacking us?” Shen Yanxiao looked down at the ground covered with seawater

in surprise.

In the blink of an eye, the sea had swallowed up hundreds of meters of land. W

“We’re not too close to the coast and we’re not harassing them. Why are they attacking us?” The

unexpected attack made Shen Yanxiao very confused. The merfolk had an indierent

temperament; as long as they did not encroach on their waters, they should not take the

initiative to attack.

Qian Yuan squinted his eyes. They were attacked by the merfolk as soon as he returned to the

Hidden Dragon Continent, which made him angry.

“Merfolk! What are you doing? Why are you attacking us for no reason!?” Qian Yuan stood up on

the back of the sky dragon, and his dashing eyebrows were wrinkled into a frown as he stared

unhappily at the sea surface.

However, in the sea, only the sound of the waves pounding the coast continued to come, and

Qian Yuan’s question had not been answered at all.

Shen Yanxiao stared at the sea. The merfolk might be very fragile and their strength could not be

compared to the dragons, but the sea was the home of the merfolk. Even the gods and devils

should not dare to ght the merfolk in the sea. The merfolk who owned the sea water were

invincible on the underwater battleeld. They were born with the ability to mobilize the sea

water. The sea was merciless. Even for the dragons: once they fell into the sea of the merfolk,

there was only one end for them, which was death.

Suddenly, the sea became calm, and the water that covered the coast gradually faded away. On

the wet ground, the rubble and vegetation swept by the sea were scattered around.
