The Good for Nothing Seventh Young Lady Chapter 1495 – The First Battle (Chapter 7)

Chapter 1495 – The First Battle (7)

Del City was swallowed up by the flames. When the four-nation alliance entered the chaotic city, they were

instantly shocked by the raging fire in front of them.

When they broke into the city and looked everywhere for the demons who had attacked them, they did not find any

suspicious traces.

However, as they rushed into the fire and walked toward the center of Del City, the entire Del City collapsed in an

instant, and countless bits of gravel mixed with flames drowned all the soldiers entering the city. The magnificent

city just a while ago became a ruin in an instant.

At the moment before Yao Ji came out of the underground city to enter another city, she pressed the mechanism that

destroyed the entire Del City, and created a nightmarish grave for the four-nation alliance.

Del City had completely disappeared from the Barren Land, leaving only the piles of rocks and countless corpses on

the ground.

Blood evaporated in the flames, giving off a disgusting smell.

The four commanders who had not yet realized the joy of victory had been shocked by all of this.

Watching the destruction of Del City, seeing the soldiers under their hands being buried alive, watching the

prosperous city in front of them become dust on the ground… their souls were shaking.

Del City fell, but Shen Yanxiao did not leave even a brick or tile for the four countries. This city was built by her

hands. At the moment when it was about to change hands, she also had Yao Ji personally destroy it.

Even if Shen Yanxiao were defeated, she would not leave any complete city for the four countries. Even if she were

killed in the battlefield, she would bring everything with her to hell!

“Damn! This is our result?” Jiang Wan, who had always been calm, could not help but swear when he saw the

destroyed Del City.

How could he have known that the way Shen Yanxiao handled things would be so decisive.

When the city could not defend against the enemy, she would destroy it completely, not leaving them anything.

The alliance of the four countries sacrificed the lives of tens of thousands of people and consumed dozens of siege

weapons, but what they got in exchange was a land of ruins.

“Did we win the first battle?” Shi Heng smiled wryly and looked at everything in front of him.

After a real day of fighting, their alliance lost more than fifty siege weapons, sacrificed about 30,000 lives, and

eventually buried nearly 100,000 people in Del City. In this seemingly victorious battle, they had spent hundreds of

thousands of troops and eventually got one city’s ruins.

The city walls collapsed with a loud rumble on the ground. Where was the victory of war in this?

This was simply a mockery to them!

“Shen Yanxiao is truly not easy to deal with.” Shi Heng shook his head and sighed. In his mind, this battle was a

defeat of the alliance of their four countries.

They did not get any city after sacrificing more than 100,000 people and losing more than 50 siege weapons. On the

other hand, Shen Yanxiao’s side had only lost dozens of lower demons and a city that no longer belonged to her.

Who was the victor and who was the loser was very obvious.

Better to have a broken jade than an intact tile. Really fierce!

“Head, what do we do now?” Luo Xuan swallowed his saliva. This had battle upset him very seriously.

Shi Heng answered, “What’s to be done? Let’s do as we see fit. Anyway, this Del City does not belong to our Divine

Wind Alliance. Destroyed is destroyed. First, count the number of our brothers who died and were injured.”

Shi Heng still had not finish all what he wanted to say when he suddenly thought whether Shen Yanxiao were

planning to destroy all the cities whenever her side was not able to defend them?

At this thought, Shi Heng could not help but shudder.

If that really were the case, Shen Yanxiao was truly insane.
