The Good for Nothing Seventh Young Lady Chapter 1485 – Four Nation Alliance (Chapter 1)

Chapter 1485 – Four Nation Alliance (1)

At Long Xuan Empire’s entrance to the Barren Land, there were nearly three million troops gathered. The millions

of troops were divided along four directions. The people surged like a tide and at first glance, the place was densely

packed. The general officers of the Long Xuan Empire’s border were not so calm as they looked at the four huge

swathes of troops one by one.

Of these three million men, one third of them came from the Long Xuan Empire. This time, the emperor of the Long

Xuan Empire had put all the important parts of the army to use, forming the largest army among the four countries.

The size of the Lan Yue Dynasty’s troops was second only to the Long Xuan Empire, with a total of 800,000 people

deployed.

Then there was the Seven Kingdoms, leading 600,000 people. The one who had sent out the least number of people

was the Divine Wind Alliance; with only 400,000 people, they did not even make up half of the Long Xuan

Empire’s army.

The forces of the four countries had their corresponding commander. They were all on one side, and were not

conversing with each other.

The commander of the Divine Wind Alliance was the head of the Genesis Mercenary Corps, one of the five major

mercenary corps. He had brought the fewest men, a thin display compared with the military might of the three other

countries.

“Head, do we really have to participate in this?” Luo Xuan, the deputy general of the Divine Wind Alliance’s army,

looked at their commander and asked.

Shi Heng, the head of the Genesis Mercenary Corps and also the commander of the army, looked at the other three

parties in silence and then said to Luo Xuan, “Otherwise?”

Luo Xuan whispered, “But Head Long Fei does not seem to agree with the alliance this time. He and Shen Yanxiao

have a good personal relationship. Furthermore, our Divine Wind Alliance and The Rising Sun City also have a lot

of transactions. Isn’t it inappropriate for us to lead an army to attack them now?”

Because of the relationship between Long Fei and Shen Yanxiao, the transactions between the Divine Wind Alliance

and The Rising Sun City were not in small during this time. They provided what The Rising Sun City needed, and

The Rising Sun City paid them accordingly. It was quite a generous cooperation. The relationship between the two

sides had always been good, but no one had thought that the Divine Wind Alliance would one day join the army that

would attack the Barren Land.

It was not only Luo Xuan who thought that this matter was very unkind; many mercenaries in the Divine Wind

Alliance had also disapproved of this. But the decision of their superiors was not something they could control.

Shi Heng sighed. If he could choose, he also did not want to join in this excitement. However, the Broken Star

Palace personally came forward to raise the matter. On this matter, there were huge differences in opinion among

the five heads of their Brotherhood Alliance. Shi Heng held a neutral attitude, Long Fei was extremely opposed, but

the other three heads agreed to accept the proposal of the Broken Star Palace.

The rules of the Divine Wind Alliance had always been the minority obeying the majority. Even if Long Fei kept on

protesting, he could never reverse the final decision.

The decision was made. Due to his opposition, Long Fei was absolutely unlikely to lead the army. But no matter

which one of the other three people went, Long Fei felt that they boded ill for Shen Yanxiao. As such, Long Fei had

asked Shi Heng, who usually had a good relationship with him, to come forward to undertake this task. Although he

could no longer turn things around, at least Shi Heng would not be ruthless towards Shen Yanxiao.

The opposition of Long Fei also made it impossible for the Divine Wind Alliance to send too many troops. After all,

many people had cooperated with Shen Yanxiao before, and they knew that if they acted in the extreme right now, it

would be hard to say if they would not be pointed out later.

“This is the decision of the Brotherhood Alliance; we can’t change it.” Shi Heng was also very helpless.

“Is this really necessary? I heard from a friend in Blizzard Mercenary Corps that Shen Yanxiao is not some kind of

evil person, she’s just a little girl. To think that we have to join forces to deal with a little girl. I really… can’t accept

this.” Luo Xuan looked very reluctant.
