The Good for Nothing Seventh Young Lady Chapter 1481 – Crisis (Chapter 2)

Chapter 1481 – Crisis (2)

Shen Yanxiao now had a full grasp on almost all the cities in the Barren Land; if she were given another five years

to develop, she surely would have the ability to confront the alliance of the four countries.

But right now it was absolutely impossible!

The four-nation alliance’s army was over millions of people strong. And although there were now many residents in

the Barren Land, for them to unswervingly serve Shen Yanxiao, throw their heads away and sprinkle their blood for

her after only less than a year was simply unrealistic.

The real fighting force in Shen Yanxiao’s hands was only those group of slaves, the demons and the Cave Wolves

mercenaries. Although the number of slaves was large and they were very loyal to Shen Yanxiao, they had only

gotten rid of their slave’s identity after entering the Barren Land. Learning dou qi and magic in such a short period

of time, it was impossible to grow so strong. Up to these days, they were still in the stage of learning of dou qi and

magic, and still had not fully chosen a profession.

Though the combat power of the demons was fierce, their number was limited. The demons under Shen Yanxiao’s

hands were no more than a few hundred thousand, and the number of higher demons was only a little more than ten

thousand. Confronting the millions of allied forces of the enemy, it was basically impossible to win.

No matter how they analyzed it, Shen Yanxiao’s battle this time would be extremely difficult.

“The number of troops of the four-nation alliance is absolutely more than two million. If they have the will to use all

the strength of each of their countries, then it is not impossible to break through five million. Combine all our

fighting forces together, and we will only have one-tenth of their number, or less. The disparity is too great.

Moreover, each country’s regular army is equipped with powerful siege weapons. Yang Xi has been building

artillery with the group of forgemen during this time and his hands have not been available to make a wide range of

war weapons. If the other side fire at us with their siege weapons, our only resistance will be the artillery.” Qi Xia

narrowed his eyes. Their situation was quite serious.

“In a large-scale battle, the role individual strength can play is just too small. Although we have Mythological

Beasts, there will certainly be Mythological Beasts in the hands of the four countries as well. One against four

enemies, this is really too difficult.” Yang Xi’s expression did not look very good. The opposing party was a fournation alliance. It could be said that it was a collection of all the forces and powerhouses of the four countries. There

were indeed many Mythological Beasts and strong people in the Barren Land, but it would still be very difficult for

them to deal with the elite troops that the four countries had assembled.

Just pulling out two Mythological Beasts from each of the four countries was already enough to reach a draw

against them.

Since the four countries dared to go to war against them, they must have made the most comprehensive

preparations. Although there were not many Mythological Beasts in their countries, it was not a problem to draw out

three or five Mythological Beasts from each. This would add up to twenty or so Mythological Beasts.

How many Mythological Beasts did The Rising Sun City have?

How should they fight against that!

There was already a great disparity between their military strengths, now the number of Mythological Beasts on

their side was also a bit worse. All the trump cards in Shen Yanxiao’s hands could not cope with this dilemma.

“We have more than ten thousand higher demons in our hands. We’re not going to suffer too much.” Tang Nazhi

was not so pessimistic. The biggest trump card in Shen Yanxiao’s hand was the group of demons. Whether they

could reverse things would depend on the performance of the demons.

More than ten thousand higher demons were equivalent to more than ten thousand Second Stage Professionals. This

fighting power was also absolutely ferocious.

Qi Xia smiled and shook his head. He said, “You may think that the number of the demons are a lot, but compared

to the alliance of the four countries, there actually aren’t many. If we assemble all the demons in one place, we may

still be able to defend against them. However, the other party is not a fool; they won’t just attack one place. Once

they attack separately, do we gather the forces? Or do we disperse them? Once we disperse them, it will be too

difficult to fight.”

[TL: I like how just some chapters ago they said like how Taotie or the demons are so strong that even when the

four countries unite no one can get him, but now that the four countries unite and even with help of her other allies,

they still have small chance XD]
