The Good for Nothing Seventh Young Lady Chapter 1437 – Wen Ya (Chapter 3)

Chapter 1437 – Wen Ya (3)

Wen Ya might be strong, perhaps she was really strong, but this strength was just the firmness in facing an enemy.

Facing her own daughter, this strength had vanished.

Drops of tears dripped down to Shen Yanxiao’s shoulder. Shen Yanxiao silently hugged this woman full of guilt and

sorrow.

Though more than ten years had passed, at least Wen Ya and Shen Yu were still alive.

“How come you’re here?” Wen Ya calmed down her innermost emotions and looked at Shen Yanxiao with great

care. Her daughter, shouldn’t she be living happily in the Radiance Continent?

Why would she appear in the Moon God Continent?

Furthermore, with the appearance of an elf.

“It’s a long story…” Shen Yanxiao looked at Wen Ya with a wry smile. The mother and daughter helped each other

and sat down on the chair in the room.

Shen Yanxiao slowly told everything about her life to Wen Ya. Apart from to Xiu, all of her experiences were said

out without any reservations.

Wen Ya listened quietly. Hearing the hardships of Shen Yanxiao for more than ten years, and also her wonderful life

in recent years after going through wind and rain, Wen Ya burst into tears.

“At the beginning, your father and I were attacked together, and you were forcibly taken away. Although I could use

my source of life to keep your father’s last breath, in the end, I am not a real elf, and thus I could not keep him alive

for too long. So I had to take him back to the Moon God Continent to save him with the help of the Tree of Life.

And you, my child, I could only ask the Holy Sage to save you…” Wen Ya stroked Shen Yanxiao’s head.

At that time, even though she did not die, she was also in a grave condition. Back then, she simply was unable to

save Shen Yanxiao. On one hand, there was her dying husband, and on the other hand, there was her daughter whose

life and death was unknown. Wen Ya was forced to a dead end. If it weren’t for Shen Siyu, perhaps she would have

already become crazy after being tangled with these two choices.

After receiving Shen Siyu’s promise of saving Shen Yanxiao, Wen Ya took Shen Yu back to the Moon God

Continent, her homeland.

Shen Siyu handed over a part of his soul to protect Shen Yu’s heart, but if Wen Ya wanted to completely cure Shen

Yu, she must rely on the Tree of Life.

Only the powerful life force of the Tree of Life could make Shen Yu come back to life.

“In the past, I was still a member of the elven family, but I was expelled from the Moon God Continent because of

my mixed-race identity. When I returned, I dared not let any elves find out so I could only find my former guard,

Yue Xi, and your little uncle, An Ran, and let them arrange everything for me. But I thought things too simply. Even

if I could take your father into the Tree of Life, I could not completely hide our aura. Soon, we were caught by the

Elf King. I was put under house arrest by the Elf King in this palace, and your father, I do not know where they took

him.” Wen Ya remembered everything that happened that year and was quite sentimental.

Breaking into Moonshine City was the only way to save Shen Yu, so she had to do this.

“I saw Third Uncle. He gave me the seed of the Purple Night and said that this is the key to saving father.” Shen

Yanxiao took out the little seed from her storage ring.

Wen Ya smiled bitterly and said, “Shen Jing is a good person, but now I don’t even know where your father is being

imprisoned. I have been afraid to act rashly for so many years, afraid that the Elf King would lay his hands on your

father. When we were caught, your father had regained his consciousness, but his body was still weak. To

completely remove the toxins from his body, the power of the Tree of Life must be combined with the Purple Night.

Over the years, the Elf King has always refused to let me see your father. I really… really don’t know where he is

being locked up.”
