Chapter 69: Gratitude (2)

Han Xuan scratched his head, clearly unable to make up his mind. “Then what should we do now? Take a detour?”

Qin Yue was stunned for a moment, but he did not answer immediately. Instead, he furrowed his brows in confusion.

Mo Chu understood what he was thinking. Once such a unique magical plant was captured by them, their points would increase exponentially. However, he was worried about the safety of his team members, so he was in a dilemma.

“How about this, Mo Yang and I go and explore it first?” Mo Chu was quite interested in this magical plant. Moreover, she could see the brilliance on the magical plant’s body. To her, this invisibility function was just a piece of cake.

“How can we do that?” Upon hearing this, Qin Yue’s thick brows furrowed. The previous team was seriously injured. Mo Chu and Mo Yang were just two people. That would be like sending them on a suicide mission, right? “If we want to go, why don’t we go together!”

“That’s right!” The other team members also agreed. If the others knew that they had let the two freshmen take the lead, they would die of shame, and they did not even need to wait for others to ridicule them!

Seeing the firm expressions on their faces, Mo Chu’s heart warmed. She nodded and agreed, “Alright then. Everyone should be more careful.”

Perhaps they had already known about the invisibility function of the magical plant, so everyone was not as worried as before. It was just that they did not know where to start.

At this moment, Mo Chu was able to play a role. In the empty space, she seemed to have the help of God as she pointed her finger everywhere.

The magical plant was not stupid. It was clear that Mo Chu had exposed its position, and it was so angry that it wanted to attack her. Unfortunately, Mo Chu had already noticed its actions. In addition, Mo Yang had always been standing beside Mo Chu, so the magical plant could not do anything to her.

On the other hand, Qin Yue’s strength was really powerful. Even if he could not see the magical plant, once Mo Chu made a sound, he could quickly launch an attack and hit the target.

As time passed, the magical plant’s energy was quickly depleted by more than half and it was no longer able to maintain its invisible state. Without the most advantageous hidden condition, the team quickly took down the magical plant!

Of course, because of the special characteristics of the magical plant, their points doubled and they quickly jumped to the top ten!

Everyone was extremely excited. They had participated in so many school competitions, not to mention the top ten, they could not even enter the top hundred. They also understood that this was all thanks to Mo Chu, and their eyes were filled with gratitude and admiration as they looked at her!

“That… can I have the root system of this magical plant?” Qin Yue and the others had put away this magical plant into the terminal, but they casually threw away the roots.

“Of course, you can, but this thing has no energy. Even if you take it, it won’t be of much use…” Han Xuan kindly said. He thought that Mo Chu was inexperienced, but he quickly remembered that Mo Chu was Chen Baizun’s disciple. So, of course, she had some use for the roots. He decided to shut up.

“It’s okay, thank you.” Mo Chu did not notice Han Xuan’s abnormality and put the root system into her Personal Terminal.

She had not reacted before, but when she smelled the familiar smell coming from the root system, she suddenly remembered! This was a kind of chili pepper that she could not find!

Holding the root system in her hand and sniffing it, Mo Chu almost burst into tears from the spiciness! Even so, it could not hide the joy in her heart. With the chili, many delicacies could be made! Just thinking about it made her drool!

The Blood Luminescent Beast in Mo Chu’s arms seemed to feel Mo Chu’s joy as it jumped a few times.

Little one, you’re in luck! Mo Chu gently patted its round back. She could see that it was starting to drool as well!
