The CEO's Villainess Childhood Friend Chapter 31 – Female No.Chapter 1 (Chapter 1)

Chapter 31: Female No.1 (1)

When Father Ye saw how excited Mr. Huang was, he couldn’t help but take a second glance at Qiao Moyu, but he couldn’t find anything special about her. He commented, “I thought the noble person you mentioned was someone around my age, but I didn’t expect her to be a young woman! However, she does look beautiful.”

“Her refined aura is the purest I’ve ever seen!” Mr. Huang went on to say, “This type of pure aura is innate and has nothing to do with age.”

Father Ye watched as Ye Peicheng and Qiao Moyu approach the movie director. In his previous meeting with Mr. Huang, he wasn’t able to inquire more about his son’s “lonely” fate since his guest was in a hurry. Since there was more time for leisure today, he asked, “Mr. Huang, where does my son’s Gusha fate come from?”

The man replied: “One reason is because he was born with this destiny, which will lead him to meet a certain person who will cause his misfortune in the future. The second reason is related to Second Master’s personality.”

Father Ye worriedly asked: “What you mean is even though he is exposed to the pure aura now, he will still end up meeting the person who will cause his loneliness in the future?”

“Yes, he will.” But Mr. Huang added, “However, if he has more contact with that girl we saw just now, the pure aura from that girl may help him block that person’s influence in the future.”

Father Ye fell into thought after listening to his explanation: “It seems that my Peicheng has to get in touch with her more often!”

“That is so,” Mr. Huang said with a nod while his gaze focused only on Qiao Moyu.

Soon after, Qiao Moyu left for the dressing room in the back. The audience’s response was very enthusiastic ever since the TV series released two episodes. That was why the director decided to add more flashback scenes for Qiao Moyu after some considerations. Today, she and Ye Peicheng will be acting out the script of when their characters first fell in love.

Soon enough, the cast’s makeup was retouched and the cameras were put in place.

In this setting, Qiao Moyu sat by the door of her wooden cabin while sewing clothes for Ye Peicheng. She often practiced her father’s ‘dancing knife’ as a child so she wasn’t used to embroidery. In her attempt, she accidentally pricked her finger with a needle.

“Ah!” the young girl cried in pain. She pricked herself too deeply, causing bead-sized droplets of blood to trickle.

At that moment, Ye Peicheng who came to see her, leapt to her side and said, “Yan’er, what’s wrong?”

Qiao Moyu didn’t expect him to come back so quickly, so she quickly hid the clothes behind her back. But it was too late. Ye Peicheng caught her arm first and saw the clothes in her hands, along with the red fingertips.

“Does it hurt?” he asked.

With that, he took her finger and put it in his mouth.

The tip of his tongue rolled slightly, causing the droplet of blood to dissolve. As Ye Peicheng tasted a hint of iron, he felt as if the tip of his tongue turned crisp and numb, as if it had been electrified.

Between them, the air suddenly thinned and a silent ambiguity prevailed. Ye Peicheng looked down at the girl before him, his voice filled with distress: “Next time we can shop for clothes. Sister, don’t hurt yourself…”

The girl’s eyes focused on their interlocked fingers with reddish cheeks.

“This scene is very good!” At the other end of the film set, Mr. Huang whispered to Father Ye, “Her blood is as precious as a qilin’s blood. It will be very helpful to Second Master!”

Father Ye: “…”

At this moment, Qiao Moyu felt as if she had done her best for this performance; that’s because her red blush and shy appearance were simply a result of trying to hold her breath for ten seconds.

When Ye Peicheng tasted her blood, Qiao Moyu’s thoughts were already calculating: ‘Since Ye Peicheng swallowed a drop of my blood, based on my past experience, he should be able to win a grand prize. It won’t be the same as Xing Yichen who picked up 100 yuan!’

T/N: *coughs* I wonder what that prize will be? Any guesses?
