Sword Among Us Chapter 838 – Points Drained to Zero

Chapter 838: Points Drained to Zero

When she saw Happy fending against Little Li Flying Dagger with his full power, Dream Clouds instantly laughed.

The defense breaking effect from Little Li Flying Dagger was something that even Barren Murderer, who had Undying King of Abyss Art as well as Heaven and Earth Great Shift could not block. It was so fast that no one can lock down on its aggressive momentum, and Happy was so idiotic that he actually thought about using his hand to block it?

Rip!

Dream Clouds could hear the sound of flesh being pierced through.

Happy heard it as well…

At that moment, his palm became numb! Reality proved that Silver Light Arhat was indeed unable to block Little Li Flying Dagger, and his silver palm was pierced through…

But at the moment Little Li Flying Dagger pierced through his palm, Happy keenly noted that Little Li Flying Dagger, which had torn through the green coiling dragon he formed in front of his palm before it ripped into his palm, had slowed down slightly!

In that instant, that stroke of luck allowed him to gain a moment of wisdom…

Shifting Stars!

Happy took a resolute one-hundred and eighty degree turn, and that Little Li Flying Dagger shot out from his palm before it used its remaining force to return to where it came from.

Thud!

Dream Clouds absolutely did not notice what happened. She only found a snow-white light suddenly flash into her eyes before she felt a huge shock on her chest, as if something had pierced into her body…

She lowered her head to look. The soft armor covering her chest had been pierced through, and there was a hole over there. The blood that gushed out from it into the air formed a desolate-looking blood arrow.

‘Little Li Flying Dagger… Happy used a Little Li Flying Dagger…’

This thought quickly flashed in Dream Clouds’ mind. Then, she used the remaining strength in her body to look up.

Happy’s injured arm fell naturally down. Blood dripped down his fingers on the grass, but there was a faint cold sneer on Happy’s lips. He stood not too far away, and no other wound could be seen on him.

“Kill them!”

At the moment her consciousness faded away, Dream Clouds heard Happy say something that made even her soul shiver!

As Dream Clouds died, Red Coral and Happy joined the chaos in the battlefield, and the plains instantly turned into a single-sided slaughter. The Class One Hall members completely lost their fighting spirit, and they quickly perished under Mu Clan’s powerful offense.

However, Barren Murderer and a small group of people managed to break out of the encirclement under a group of Class One Hall’s protection. They did not die.

“How many casualties?”

Happy cast a glance at the Mu Clan members who gathered to him. When he found that there were fewer than one thousand of them, he frowned, and right before the corpse-strewn plains, Happy asked about their losses in the battlefield.

Silver Wolf came forward from the back of the group.

“Class One Hall lost at least four thousand people this time. The ones who lost their points are Blood Robes, Evil Wolf, Dream Clouds, and Monk with Thick Eyebrows. The points they accumulated have already surpassed forty thousand.

“But we also lost more than four hundred members. Still, the points that we sacrificed are not much. The only person who has more than ten thousand points is Phoenix Dances.”

Happy nodded in praise and said, “Not bad! Phoenix Dances still died in a worthy manner. After all, she managed to break a fourth-echelon divine weapon and got a Little Li Flying Dagger. This throwing knife is a fierce item, and it’s too dangerous. If we make them lose one, it’s worth it.”

“How did you miss that Little Li Flying Dagger just now?”

Silver Wolf curiously cast a glance at the wound that had not healed just yet on Happy’s palm. “They say that Little Li Flying Daggers will never miss their target. Dream Clouds used two Little Li Flying Daggers against you, and she still didn’t manage to kill you. You even managed to kill her. How did you do that?”

The Mu Clan members around the area perked up their ears, and they looked very curious.

“Little Li Flying Daggers will only never miss their target when they’re used by Li Xunhuan, not Dream Clouds. She might have nearly killed me by using two throwing knives in succession, but no matter what, she didn’t inherit Li Xunhuan’s legacy, so the power in those throwing knives aren’t great. Once the throwing knives pierced my palm, it no longer had any remaining force enough to threaten me…”

Even so, the injury on Happy’s palm was still very horrifying.

“What should we do next?”

Silver Wolf’s gaze moved up and down Happy’s hand. The battle over here might have ended, but Dream Clouds’ death did not make the curtains fall for Mu Clan and Class One Hall’s war. In fact, the war had just started.

In the subsequent month, the small number of Mu Clan members (in comparison) will have to face more than ten thousand Class One Hall elites surrounding them, and they will not rest until all of them died!

To this, even Happy currently had not thought about a good plan to handle the situation.

“Those who have war achievements, return to the camp and get a military title first!

“Send word that those who died and returned to the city are to temporarily stay in the city. They are not to act rashly.

“Also, all the members who are at the borders are to immediately head to the logistics camp to meet up with the rest!

“Contact our friends from Chivalry Sect and tell them to change our tactics. Everyone must prioritize getting two hundred points to get the military title of a 5-man commander.”

Once he gave a few orders, the group of people quickly moved.

Silver Wolf and Red Coral swiftly understood Happy’s intentions through the series of orders he gave.

Right now, Dream Clouds and Blood Robes died. They will be revived at Aru City, which was dozens of miles away. Barren Murderer brought a few people to break out of their encirclement and fled. While there are plenty of people from Class One Hall, they did not have a leader. Right now, they were at their weakest, and they cannot fight against Mu Clan.

For at least two hours, Dream Clouds and Blood Robes will not be able to appear at the battlefield at the borders!

This period of time will be the best they had to kill the remnants of Class One Hall.

The group of people jumped up their horses.

Red Coral looked up at the scorching sun above them before she turned her head and looked at Happy.

“Clan master, I have a suggestion.”

“What is it?”

Ever since Red Coral voiced her views, Happy had the intention of making Red Coral a part of the decision makers in Mu Clan. Hence, he immediately asked her to speak up without hesitation.

“The war on the second day has already gone on for a long time. There are not many Mongolian cavaliers left on the plains. I’m guessing that it was not far away from the time the bell tolls for the war to end. Right now, if we gather at the back, we’ll soon wage full-on war against Class One Hall. It’ll be better if we avoid being engaged in such an aggressive act for now and head to the enemy rear.”

When he heard Red Coral’s bold suggestion, Silver Wolf could not help but look at Red Coral in surprise.

Red Coral was right.

On the first day, the Chinese players lacked information, and they suffered great losses. They only ended their fighting during sunset, and as the army withdrew their troops, they also stopped fighting. But today, the situation was completely different from yesterday. There were many places where the fighting had already ended.

Even if there were still some conflicts in certain places, they believed that the number of those conflicts was not high. Right now, the results of them gathering their forces together will not be good. If they fought against Class One Hall head on, the losses Mu Clan will suffer will be very great, and they cannot afford this loss in the north.

Silver Wolf nodded and suggested. “I agree with her. Thunderous Battle has already obtained the title of a middle-rank captain, and the quest he obtained is a protection quest to stop the Mongolian cavaliers from intercepting our food supply. This is a quest that only middle-rank captains can trigger. There are two other major quests that can be triggered, and they might be able to provide a few thousand points. I’m thinking that Rampaging Dragon, Momo, Little North, and I will almost be able to reach the level of a middle-rank captain soon. We can activate those quests together, and it will get us enough points for us to trigger a large-scale quest to harass the flanks together.”

“That’s also a plan! But if we do that, Wind Assault Tower, Wind and Rain Alliance, and Chivalry Sect will be in a very difficult situation.” When he said this, Happy changed his tone. “How about this? Once we gather together, go and get your military titles as soon as possible and bring enough men to activate your quests. I’ll head to Aru City and catch Class One Hall’s attention for a while. I’ll also rescue the people from the sects while I’m at it.”
