“What does Grandpa want to tell me? Granddaughter will listen carefully to what you say.” Seeing his stern look, Lin Wanwan stuck her tongue out playfully, playing the role of an entertainer to amuse him.

Old Master Lin smiled and waved his hands for her to sit over.

“I’ve heard what happened in the company.”

“Grandpa…” Lin Wanwan thought that he felt it was unfair to her and was about to comfort her.

Old Master Lin pulled her hand and said slowly, “Wanwan, actually, you have the right to succeed the Lin family. Before your father went to jail, he left me something. He also told me that the capable person between you and Wanxin can hold the CEO position within the Lin Group.”

As he said this, he pulled open the drawer by the bedside table and took out a transfer of ownership book.

“Your father owns 70% of the shares within the Lin Group. In the earlier years, he gave me and your grandmother 5% each. For the remaining 60%, he gave half to Wanxin. He asked me to give the other half to you. If you’re interested, you can have a fair competition with Wanxin for the CEO position within the Lin Group. If not, it’s not bad to be a director who receives dividends each year.”

A trace of complicatedness flashed past Lin Wanwan’s heart.

She’d initially thought that Lin Qinghao hated her to death. She didn’t expect him to give her something so precious.

Old Master Lin sighed. “I could tell that you’re not interested in business. Thus, I didn’t tell you about this matter. However, those directors went too overboard. You’re the Second Miss of our Lin family. No one can degrade you!”

At this moment, the door was pushed open.

Lin Wanxin held two glasses of iced pear drinks in her hands and looked calm, as always.

“I heard Second Sister came over, so I wanted to give you both something to drink. However, I accidentally overheard this matter. I initially thought that Father had given that 30% of shares to Grandpa. I didn’t expect him to have prepared it for Second Sister. I’m relieved now.”

She choked slightly. “In Father’s heart, Second Sister and I are the same. It’s a pity that Siqing…”

Old Master Lin explained, “Qinghao didn’t forget Siqing. The company needs someone capable to manage it. However, Siqing hasn’t even completed university yet. When she returns, I’ll transfer some of the Lin family’s assets to her name, according to Qinghao’s wishes.”

“That’s good.”

Lin Wanxin smiled, relieved. She looked at Lin Wanwan. “Second Sister, since both of us have the rights as successors, why don’t you work in the company as well? We can have a fair competition. Whoever performs better can be the CEO. We are birth sisters. Winning isn’t important.”

She said it so sincerely that Lin Wanwan raised her eyebrows lightly.

If it were a few days ago, she would definitely have rejected it without hesitation.

However, her mindset had changed now.

If Lin Wanxin really had bad intentions toward her, she could coincidentally make good use of this chance.

“Ok.”

Lin Wanxin thought for a while, then smiled and suggested, “Why don’t we do this? It will be the monthly shareholders’ meeting in half a month. I’ll announce the news of us having a fair competition then. We can also discuss with everyone how we should compete.”

“I’ll be there punctually.”

Lin Wanxin blinked and acted cute. “Second Sister, I’ll work hard so that I won’t lose to you. You have to go for it as well!”

Lin Wanwan really wanted to give a round of applause.

It was a pity that Lin Wanxin wasn’t in the entertainment circle. Her acting skills didn’t pale in comparison to hers.

If everything wasn’t so coincidental and Tang Chen didn’t enlighten her, she would have gradually be charmed by Lin Wanxin’s harmless appearance.

“Thank you. I will.”
