Before the hooligan could finish his words, Luo Tao moved Mo Yan behind him. He took a step forward and kicked the leader’s chest.

With another “Bang”, the hooligan slammed into his small group of followers behind him. He grabbed his chest, unable to speak.

“Wait for me at the door, I’ll be quick.” Luo Tao turned around and rubbed Mo Yan’s face with a loving look.

When he turned around again, Luo Tao raised his fist and stared at the hooligans as if they were already dead to him.

Before Mo Yan could react, Luo Tao had already made his move. Like a bullet, he rushed into the crowd. In the blink of an eye, the few hooligans who were standing up, all fell to the ground in pain and began to wail.

Thinking of the humiliation that these hooligans had caused Mo Yan, Luo Tao was still not satisfied. He raised his leg and gave them a few vicious kicks. The hooligans’ heads were bleeding, and they did not even have the strength to cry.

Seeing that Luo Tao still wanted to continue, Mo Yan nervously said, “Luo Tao!”

Luo Tao wiped off the blood on his hands and looked up at the tearful Mo Yan.

“Don’t beat them to death… you will go to jail.” Mo Yan pursed her lips and advised.

“If you dare to come find trouble with my wife again, you are dead!” Luo Tao listened to Mo Yan and did not continue beating them. Instead, he sternly berated them.

The hooligans quickly tried to leave, rolling and crawling on the ground. They looked like they had just seen a ghost, and did not even dare to look back.

After chasing away the evil hooligans, Luo Tao quickly walked in front of Mo Yan and pulled her into his arms again. He gently stroked her beautiful hair and said in a deep voice, “Are you still scared?”

Mo Yan also wrapped her arms around his slender waist. Her face leaned against Luo Tao’s chest. Listening to his strong heartbeat, she felt an unprecedented sense of security. She shook her head and said, “Not anymore.”

“I didn’t expect you to be so brave.” Luo Tao held Mo Yan and felt his heart soften. The corners of his mouth unconsciously curled up. “You even used a knife to cut two people. That’s very impressive.”

“Even rabbits bite people when they feel threatened. I was forced to. Things could have gotten a lot worse. Fortunately, you came back just in time.” Mo Yan buried herself in his arms and rubbed against him like a spoiled child.

“Yes, it’s all because of me. I should have stayed at home with you. This won’t happen again.” Luo Tao’s voice had subconsciously become much gentler, and the corners of his eyes curled upwards into smiles.

However, if those hooligans came back, he would definitely kill them, Luo Tao thought to himself.

Mo Yan was tightly wrapped around by Luo Tao, and her breathing became much faster. She tightened her arms around him, and her little face was flushed red.

She did not expect Luo Tao to be so strong. Not only could he send a person flying with one kick, but he could also beat up a few hooligans in just a few moves.

He was completely different from the good-for-nothing, and poor person that she heard he was, before she married him.

Actually, why did those hooligans say that Luo Tao was a good-for-nothing in the past?

Thinking of this, Mo Yan could not help but raise her head to look at him. The man had extremely defined brows and yes, and he looked upright and handsome. He was completely different from what she had heard about him.

While she was sizing up Luo Tao, Luo Tao was looking at her with a smile.

Mo Yan felt a little uncomfortable under his gaze. She could not help but touch her face and ask, “What’s wrong? Is there something on my face?”

Luo Tao helped her to tuck her hair behind her ears, then, he slowly said, “I heard that the eldest daughter of the Mo family had a bad temper, and that she was a spoiled young lady. But in my eyes, you are very kind and virtuous. Not only do you not have any bad habits, but you also take care of our family well.”

“So, sometimes I think to myself, are you really the eldest daughter of the Mo family, Mo Lian?” Luo Tao looked at her, his eyes dark.

Mo Yan froze, then she scolded, “Of course I am! I am standing right in front of you now, what are you worried about?”

Standing up straight from Luo Tao’s arms, Mo Yan tugged at the hem of his clothes and pretended to be disgusted, saying, “Come, I’ll help you wash up quickly, you’re so dirty. You should have been more careful.”

“Okay, I’ll be more careful next time.” Looking at Mo Yan’s cute appearance, Luo Tao laughed sincerely. He obediently followed her into the bathroom and let her wash his clothes.

He did not mind that Mo Yan chose not to come clean today. There was still plenty of time in the future. He was willing to wait for the day when she was willing to tell him the truth.

The two of them were interacting warmly when they heard an inappropriate shout from outside. “Luo Tao! What happened to you?”
