She inhaled a deep breath. That was close, for she had nearly bumped into him!

“What do you want to do?”

Bo Jinchuan saw that she was wary of him. He frowned before asking, “Are you afraid of me?”

Shen Fanxing paused before adding hastily, “Why should I be afraid of you?”

Bo Jinchuan stared at her silently, as he exposed her lies quietly.

Shen Fanxing muttered awkwardly,

“Who asked you to say that all the time? Don’t you feel ashamed…”

Though her voice was low, Bo Jinchuan heard her.

However, seeing how bothered she looked, he remained quiet.

Instead, he handed her his tie.

“Help me.”

Shen Fanxing’s eyes swept across the black tie he was holding. She took a deep breath before taking it.

There was a flight of stairs near the entrance of the bathroom. Now that she was standing a step above Bo Jinchuan, she didn’t have to tiptoe, which made it easier for her.

Bo Jinchuan lowered his gaze and as he gazed at the tip of Shen Fanxing’s nose.

“Done.”

It didn’t take too long. She looked up at the man and asked, “You really don’t want to try putting on the tie yourself? If you live alone someday, wouldn’t it be inconvenient?”

“I have you.”

Shen Fanxing raised an eyebrow and replied, “But I’m not living with you. Are you thinking of driving all the way here to get me to help you every day?”

Bo Jinchuan went silent for a while before he bent to carry Shen Fanxing down the stairs. He said airily, “It’s not troublesome.”

Looking at his calm face, Shen Fanxing couldn’t help but laugh to herself.

In the past, she only knew how alluring and seductive he was. No one could resist him.

She didn’t expect him to have his awkward moments.

“Alright, it’s time to go to work.”

Shen Fanxing said as she stowed her phone inside her bag. She walked to the entrance to put on her shoes.

“I’ll send you.”
