Shinobi Exam: First Question, Why Was Akatsuki Destroyed? Chapter 69. Ay’s Drive.

Swish ~

The red light in the exam space instantly disappeared, so everyone understood that Danzō was incorrect and immediately looked at Danzō with glee.

Seeing Danzō’s single eye stared at the masked man who answered the question to the extreme and looked as if he couldn’t wait to eat him, the group of people watching the live broadcast in the shinobi world instantly burst with delight.

“Hahaha, did he think our Suna was like his Konoha? Back-stabbing ourselves?”

“Although our Kazekage was grumpy, bad to his subordinates, harsh to his children, he’s dead, and we have no more problems.”

“Chiyo, how is that possible?”

“Although Chiyo-sama is also an advisor, she doesn’t seem like she’s as bossy as Konoha’s advisors.”

“Indeed, Konoha’s advisors are too lax. When Pain invaded Konoha if they told that Tsunade Hokage to bring Naruto back earlier, perhaps they would have been fine.”

“But, unfortunately, if Chiyo-sama had been elected as the Fifth Kazekage, our Suna would surely get better and better, right?”

…

In the exam space, the purple light lit up again for the second time.

The Fourth Raikage already had the answer in his heart.

Nowadays, there were very few hopefuls in Suna, and there weren’t many that could be the answer.

Since it wasn’t Chiyo, the most likely answer was Ebizō or Suna’s Jōnin, Baki.

After all, these two men were also big figures in Suna, and they were among the few outstanding shinobi.

‘In addition to these two people, who else could it be?’

‘It couldn’t be the kid, waving the Ichibi around, could it?’

After all, if there were no exam space, he would still be the Jinchūriki, and no Jinchūriki in the history of the shinobi world would become a Kage.

(Translator: *cough* Yagura *cough*…)

Therefore, in Raikage’s opinion, the most likely answer was the Jōnin, Baki.

Although the answer had been decided, the Fourth Raikage wasn’t in a hurry to say it.

Just now, when the red group answered the question, he couldn’t hear their voices, so he never spoke. But now, he could speak up!

Ay, with his eyes slightly open, looked at the Kyūbi on the boy’s head and the girl in his hand, just like Uzumaki Naruto, the winner in life. He wondered if his words could impress him.

Originally, he was quite happy to see Uzumaki Naruto explode. After all, if the boy hated Konoha, Ay’s chances of success would be much better.

But who knew that this kid was just acting sick, lying on the ground and pretending to be dead, and then standing up as if nothing had happened.

This confused Ay a little.

Glancing at the answer time that was consumed by a few seconds, the Fourth Raikage’s voice rang out in the exam space.

No. It wasn’t just the exam space but the whole shinobi world. The Raikage’s words were enough to drive countless people crazy.

“Uzumaki boy, I think you are having a bad time in Konoha. Do you want to come to my Kumogakure?”

On the purple platform, the Fourth Raikage looked at Uzumaki Naruto with a burning gaze.

His arms were proudly wrapped around his chest, the corners of his mouth were high, and his dark skin and rock-solid cheeks gave him a very impressive presence.

“He’s … he’s kidding, right? Raikage-sama is actually inviting Uzumaki Naruto!”

“This …”

“Konoha couldn’t possibly agree, could they?”

Without waiting for everyone in the exam space, everyone in the world reacted. The Raikage had said something that was extremely unbecoming of his status.

“Boy, as long as you come to my Kumogakure, you will be my personal student! I can assure you that no one would dare to look down on you in our Kumo.

Killer B is the perfect Jinchūriki, who can teach you about Tailed Beasts.

Besides, I can also guarantee that after Darui, you will become the Sixth Raikage!”

Boom!

Boom!

Boom!

Whether it was in the exam space or the shinobi world, everyone felt the earth was shaking at the moment.

Everyone’s head was buzzing, and they didn’t understand. What was the Fourth Raikage smoking?

Obviously, those were extremely absurd words, but seeing the expression on Ay’s face, everyone subconsciously felt…

This man wasn’t joking.

It’s just…

‘Would Konoha agree?’

He was still a Jinchūriki of Konoha!

…

Ōnoki, the Third Tsuchikage, looked gloomy at the moment; he was prepared to do the same thing as Ay did. After all, he was also happy to see that Uzumaki Naruto was being treated unfairly.

But he didn’t expect that Ay’s gesture would be this big!

The Raikage’s gesture was big enough to block all other offers from other shinobi villages directly!

‘The Sixth Raikage!?’

‘He’s simply crazy!’

‘Even if Uzumaki Naruto was very strong, even if his father, the Yellow Flash — would be resurrected in the future, but the position of a Kage…’

Ōnoki looked at the Raikage with admiration. For the first time, he saw that the Raikage was truly amazing.

In a trance, he seemed to see the Third Raikage in him.

…

Watching Jiraiya and Tsunade blocking the stunned Uzumaki Naruto behind them, and even Hyūga Hiashi and the other family leaders leaned closer to Naruto, the Fourth Raikage smiled disdainfully.

The lightning-like gaze instantly looked at the center of Konoha’s Root.

There, the three old guys were looking at him coldly with severe eyes, as if they were looking at a clown.

Although they didn’t say anything, those eyes spoke for themselves.

With his own strength, he met those eyes. Ay’s expression didn’t change the slightest.

“If you agree, I can sign a friendly contract between Konohagakure and Kumogakure. In 30 years, if Kumo and Konoha have a dispute in missions, Kumo will give up the mission unconditionally.”

“As for the Kyūbi, I can leave it, or wait for Yugito and Killer B to die of natural causes, and then exchange it with Nibi and Hachibi. For this, you Konoha can decide for yourselves.”

After saying that, Ay glanced at Uzumaki Naruto, who was blocked by people, and spoke to Uzumaki Nagato as if nothing had happened.

“For the answer to this question. Our answer is Suna’s Jōnin — Baki.”

The purple light dimmed while a white light lit up.

This meant that the Fourth Raikage’s answer was incorrect, and the right to answer went to the white team.

But at this moment, who cared about answering questions?

They were all stunned by the big gesture from the Fourth Raikage!

As long as Naruto went to the Kumogakure, the Fourth Raikage would directly accept him as a close student, and train him to become the Sixth Raikage.

In exchange, he even promised to sign a peace treaty and exchange two Tailed Beasts for one…

‘These conditions…’

‘This treatment…’

‘This…’

‘Why the fuck was it Uzumaki Naruto, and not me!?’

In the shinobi world, countless people suddenly felt angry after seeing the bid from the Fourth Raikage.

They felt that they weren’t any worse than Uzumaki Naruto, except for their appearance, temperament, and strength. Why did everything good have to fall on him?

Could it be that it was just because they were born without a pair of parents that would sacrifice themselves for the greater good?

‘Shit! I should have known that sacrificing something was always the go-to method!’

‘As for the condemnation from the village. Is it even important?’

‘And in the shinobi world, how many amazing people weren’t condemned by a whole village?’

Not to mention themselves, this treatment, it would seem that Shimura Danzō, would like to be condemned by the village.

With the relentless character that old guy had, it looked like he might even slaughter the whole village!

At the moment, in the red group, Shimura Danzō and the two advisors also looked surprised.

If they agreed to the Raikage’s request …

Konoha would immediately become the number one village in the shinobi world!

This temptation was … too great!

It was so big that all three of them were a bit captivated by it.
