Johan got off the bed and went straight to Carlos and pressed him in the stomach, punching him in the face many times without giving him a chance to fight back. The burly bodyguard was so emotional, he couldn’t accept that Elsa almost died because of his master.

“He deserved to die because he was a shameless man, . . . son of a bitch!” said Johan with a sharp look at Carlos. He gasped for breath then got up, planted his feet on Carlos’ chest.

The battered Carlos narrowed his eyes at Johan. He felt pain and wonder why the Bodyguard was in his room wearing casual clothes.

“Johan, why are you in this room? …what are you doing?” he asked breathlessly, holding the pain in his face. he tried to remove the treacherous bodyguard’s legs from above his chest.

Johan silently glanced at Elsa, as if asking her to explain everything instead of continuing to act, because there was no point in sticking with the jerk Carlos either.

“Johan, answer me!” Carlos exclaimed with a sharp look.

Seeing that Elsa was silent, finally Johan spoke up while looking at Elsa and Carlos in turn. “I’m here because I’m secretly in a relationship with your wife!”

Elsa nodded. “There’s no point in me staying with him. Or maybe he’ll try to kill me like before,” she answered, glancing at Carlos who was now sitting on the floor leaning on the foot of the bed.

“YOU TRAITOR!” Carlos growled then stood up to beat Johan but was immediately resisted and he fell again with his head hit by the corner of the bed until his head bled and finally passed out.

“Johan… is he dead?” Elsa was scared while holding Johan’s right arm.

Johan was silent then approached Carlos who fainted lying on the floor. He crouched down to check the pulse of his employer’s wrist and then stood back up casually.

“He just passed out,” said Johan then turned to look at Elsa. “If you’re going to choose me, we’d better get out of this house now. He’s unconscious, We leaving at a leisurely pace so Baron and the others don’t suspect anything.”

“Okay. I’ll bring some valuables,” said Elsa then rushed to the walk-in closet to get some clothes, other items such as make-up, and jewelry that she had collected from the money Carlos gave her.

In the room, Bryana was going back and forth to the bathroom while Dean was sleeping soundly. The woman who was heavily pregnant was urinating frequently and felt her stomach churn every few minutes. she sat on the edge of the bed, staring at her husband who seemed so sound asleep, made her reluctant to wake him, and chose to lie down next to him and try to close her eyes when she didn’t feel sick anymore.

“Ughhh… why is this? I won’t be able to sleep at this rate.” Bryana is getting more and more restless, changing positions from supine, tilted to the right, to the left, even curled up until her stomach doesn’t ache anymore.

Dean felt the restlessness of Bryana who often moved beside him. He woke up and glanced at his wife who was curled up while looking at him with a grimaced expression as if in pain.

“Honey, what happened?” Dean asked worriedly.

“Stomach ache,” Briana replied. even though she’s been through childbirth twice in her life, she’s never had a normal delivery, never even had this kind of heartburn because Calvin and Aidyn were born by Caesarean without waiting for her heartburn because it started with an incident.

Dean tilted his position then embraced Bryana from the side and rubbed his stomach with his eyes closed again. For some reason, the drowsiness was so intense in his eyes that he couldn’t control it anymore.

“Now go to sleep, it’s getting late and your stomach will get better when you sleep and calm down,” Dean said patiently, stroking Bryana’s tummy which was covered in clothes.

Bryana was silent feeling comfortable but could not sleep. Now she feels like peeing again. .ah, finally she let go of her husband’s arms and rushed to the bathroom while her husband fell asleep again. Haha, he’s unsympathetic!

Until a few minutes passed until it turned to hours, it was one o’clock in the morning, Bryana felt more and more heartburn. She even started to hurt and finally, Dean woke up again.

“Honey, does it still hurt?” Dean asked worriedly. He looked pityingly at Bryana, who apparently hadn’t slept since earlier and was now sitting on the headboard of the bed. “I’ll call Dr. Clara,” Dean said then sat up and took his phone which was on the table near the bed. He immediately tried to contact Dr. Clara, who is Bryana’s obstetrician.

“Hello, Dr. Clara. My wife has a stomach ache. Is this a sign she’s about to give birth?” Dean asked with his eyes fixed on the aching Bryana. He rubbed his wife’s forehead to brush her hair. “Wait a minute, everything will be fine,” he said

“What are her complaints? Try handing your cell phone to Mrs. Bryana so she can explain how she feels,” said Dr. Clara from the phone sounded so calm while the caller was very anxious.

Dean immediately handed his phone to Bryana who immediately explained what the complaint was.
