Carlos sat on the sofa in his room enjoying the scent after puff of his cigarette. Sometimes his gaze glanced at the clock on the wall which said it was 11:25 p.m. “Damn wife. How can she not come home at this hour even though she has been gone since morning…Did she forget that she has a child who needs her affection?”

Carlos chuckled annoyed and even threw his cigarette ashtray towards the main door of the white room. “I have prioritized her but instead behaved casually. Vania is much better than her even though I often leave her!”

The door to the room opened and Elsa entered the room with a surprised look because the floor was dirty with cigarette butts and ashes scattered about, then looked at Carlos who was looking at her sharply.

“Where have you been?” Carlos asked furiously.

“I have important business,” Elsa replied then looked down to pick up cigarette butts and ashtrays as she said, “I go to work, to please myself, to forget my annoyance because you always see Vania.”

“She’s my wife, it’s only natural that I meet her because she also has a child from me. Her son also needs my attention!” Carlos emphasized. He stood up to approach Elsa who instead immediately stepped aside, throwing her bag on the bed.

“You used to say you married her just for a responsibility. After she gave birth you should have divorced her instead of continuing to be her husband until now,” Elsa exclaimed as she took off her high heels and then walked to the bathroom.

“She loves me … I have the right to keep her as my wife!” said Carlos furiously. He should be the one who is angry because Elsa is negligent in carrying out her duties as a wife but his wife is even indifferent and continues to blame him.

Elsa stopped at the door and turned to Carlos. “Then what about me? I love you too but you don’t treat me like that.”

Carlos walked hurriedly to the garage until he met Johan on the terrace of the house.

“Sir,” said John.

Carlos threw the car keys at Johan who immediately caught him. “Get my car out!”

“Where are you going at this time, sir?” asked John, looking down.

“Seeking fun,” answered Carlos. “I’m going to go crazy if I keep dealing with Elsa who is very talkative and feels the most self-righteous!” he continued angrily.

“But she did that for a reason, sir,” said Johan.

“The reason is Vania and it is always Vania who is the cause. We have been together for more than two years with a polygamous household, but she still makes a fuss about it even though I have prioritized her over Vania!” said Carlos annoyed. “And now look. She even behaved arbitrarily, still wanting to be appreciated. She thinks she’s the queen?”

Johan lowered his head and chose to remain silent because for him it was Carlos’s fault for maintaining the polygamous marriage while being responsible in other ways. he confirmed Elsa’s attitude that felt betrayed by Carlos.

“Quickly get my car!” Carlos exclaimed.

Johan, who was daydreaming about Elsa, immediately took Carlos’ car which was in the garage.

In the room, Elsa chooses to take a warm bath in the bathroom in a large bathtub. She relaxed her mind, pushed away from the thought of Carlos who would spend the night with Vania, then made love….ah, her heart always burns at the thought, almost every day like that when Carlos meets Vania.

When Carlos had left, Johan patrolled for a while then entered the house because it was time for him to rest while the other bodyguards were on-duty guard.

Johan saw the fire burning big enough to burn the bed to cause quite a puff of smoke to fill the room. He saw that Elsa had just come out of the bathroom wearing only a white bathrobe.

“Johan, please put out the fire!” Elsa cried frantically, covering her nose and mouth with her palms.

Johan nodded and rushed to the bathroom to find water to put out the fire.

Elsa coughed and began to feel short of breath until finally Johan come was only bare-chested because he wet his upper clothes to extinguish the fire that burned the bed.

“This must be Carlos!” Elsa chuckled in annoyance, occasionally coughing as she looked at Johan who was covering the fire with his wet clothes.

“Maybe Mr. Carlos didn’t realize he was throwing his cigarette butts on the bed,” said Johan, realizing that Carlos’s habit was smoking.

“Maybe he wanted to kill me on purpose!” said Elsa angrily.

Johan breathed a sigh of relief that the fire had been extinguished. His burly body was a bit smudged by the ashes from the burnt mattress and bed linen.

“Gosh. You’re so dirty… There are burns too!” Elsa noticed that Johan’s shoulder looked blistered. She immediately took the first aid kit from the drawer of the bedside table.

“You sit there first,” Elsa called, pointing at the sofa.

Johan nodded in agreement and walked to the sofa followed by Elsa who had brought a first aid kit.

Elsa immediately treated the burn. even if it’s a little, it’s enough to make Johan feel the pain that makes hef feel pity and worry.

“Ahhh!” John winced in pain.

“Sorry,” Elsa said with an uncomfortable look. “Because of Carlos. I almost died of difficulty breathing and you got hurt!”

“Maybe he didn’t mean to,” said Johan.

Elsa sighed, glancing at Johan who was still defending Carlos. Suddenly her eyes focused on the bodyguard’s burly body, making her hallucinate if… Ah, she’s starting to have a perverted brain…
