At eleven o’clock at night, Monica and Raymond said goodbye to go home because Bryana instead asked them to come home to take care of the kids.

“You seriously don’t want us to accompany you?” she asked.

Bryana shook her head at the sleeping Dean. “I’m okay. I’m feeling better and can take care of Dean on my own. Besides, there’s Dany upfront,” she answered.

“If there’s anything, call us immediately,” Raymond shouted and then rubbed Bryana’s head. He smiled when he saw his younger sister who was already looking, fitter. “I know you want us to go home because you want to be alone with your husband.”

“It’s not like that … I just feel sorry for Madeline, for the kids if you leave. Poor mommy and Dinda having trouble taking care of them,” said Bryana with a groan but in her heart said, ‘yes…I just want to be alone because I can’t sleep when you’re around.’

“Okay then. We’re home,” said Monica, rubbing Bryana’s shoulder. “Take care of yourself and get some rest. Don’t stay up late.”

“Yes, sister-in-law….” Bryana glanced at Monica who was always attentive and reminded.

Monica smiled amused to hear Bryana call her with a very complete name. She rushed out of the treatment room with Raymond who immediately took her hand.

Bryana breathed a sigh of relief, turning to look at Dean who was still sleeping with a body that still looked weak. She approached her husband then took his hand, kissed him, and looked at his handsome face a little pale. The woman was still often afraid that her husband would stop breathing like before, because the thing she feared the most was being separated moreover, she was pregnant, just celebrating her pregnancy in the apartment so sweetly.

“What’s next after this? Could there be someone who wants our unhappiness again? Kareen who loves you to the point of wanting to kill you because she doesn’t want to see you with me….because of me you are like this,” Bryana whispered sadly, pressing Dean’s palm to her cheek. She couldn’t feel her tears falling again, imagining so many things that had happened that put her husband in danger because of her and the most terrible thing was because it had stopped breathing.

“I love you so much… The thing I’m most afraid of is losing you.” Bryana sobbed more, then lowered her head against the edge of the bed.

Hearing and feeling his hands wet, Dean woke up. he looked down at the side where Bryana was looking down sobbing. He wanted to get up but his head felt so dizzy, even his breathing was still not stable.

“Honey ..,” Dean whispered as he rubbed Bryana’s head with his right hand.

Feeling called, Bryana lifted her head again and wiped her tears. She smiled at Dean who was also smiling at him. “You wake up.”

“Why are you crying?” asked Dean.

“It’s okay… I just…” Bryana bent her face, trying to hold back her sad feelings but still, it was hard to keep her tears from falling. “I’m tired …”

“Never mind… Everything will be beautiful in its time..this is a test from God for us, testing the strength of our love,” Dean exclaimed while wiping Bryana’s tears that had fallen again.

“Because of me, you almost died… I was wrong… I had teased you from the start to not give Kareen a chance to get close…I snatched you from her…” Bryana said remembering the first time she started approaching Dean, at that time Kareen was very close to Dean and Sofia, even living at his house.

“She is always there for you, then I come to tease you, provoke you to fall in love with me. she is very hurt but I don’t care. I’m too selfish and want you without thinking about her feelings,” she continued with all her humility.

Dean sighed, took Bryana’s hand, and said “you’re not wrong. I loved you from the start not because you teased me. This love comes purely from the heart not because it was provoked by you. You can’t blame yourself for this because I never really had feelings for Kareen in the first time.”

“Kareen always comes to help me, makes me feel like I owe her… but I can’t repay her with love, I force my heart to love her….and right now, her feelings for me don’t love,” he continued in a huff, imagining the time Kareen had been so pleased to see him struggling to breathe.

Because Dean kept asking, Bryana finally got into bed. she lay her body on her side and immediately embraced her husband’s stomach which was covered by a white blanket while his chest was not clothed and there were several medical devices attached.

“Honey,” Bryana called.

“Hmm,” said Dean.

Bryana looked up at Dean, then touched his chest. “What about your breath. Is it still tight?” She asked.

“It’s getting better,” Dean replied with a smile until he asked back, “what about pebble, are you starting to get sick because of it?”

“Just a lack of appetite. It seems to be more graceful, unlike when Aidyn in my belly made me very weak,” Bryana replied.

Dean smiled crookedly glanced at Bryana who embraced him. “If it’s graceful, then it’s like you.”

“Hopefully so.”

Bryana felt his jaw until Dean’s lips were slightly dry. “Can I kiss you?” She asked.

“Of course,” Dean replied with a smile, turning to Bryana who immediately moved his face so that their lips met.

“I thought I wouldn’t be able to feel this kiss,” Bryana muttered sadly.

“We’ll still be able to kiss until we’re old..don’t be afraid anymore. God will surely fulfill our dream to live together until we are old,” said Dean then kissed Bryana’s lips again very gently until the kiss was returned gently. He closed his eyes enjoying the kiss with his wife who was very spoiled.
