Stevan smiled crookedly glancing at Bryana. He took a deep breath and then exhaled slowly trying to stabilize his breath, which felt tight, his chest ached but he tried to hide what he felt from his daughter.

“Where’s your son?” Stevan whispered.

“He’s still in the incubator because he was born prematurely,” Bryana replied.

“Is he well?”

“Yeah, he’s healthy even though he’s tiny. I’ve already given him a name,” Bryana explained with a happy smile.

“I wish I could see it,” Stevan said weakly. he found it very difficult to open his eyes, even his chest hurt even more.

“If dad is getting better and he’s allowed to leave the NICU, I’ll bring him here. He is very handsome, has a little resemblance to you,” said Bryana hoping to raise the spirit of her father’s life.

Stevan smiled crookedly at Bryana who looked very happy. “He must look like Dean.”

“Dean will always take care of you,” Stevan said then took another breath because it was getting tighter. “Whatever happens, I hope you guys stay together, grow old together unlike mom and dad.”
