When the time showed 12:05 pm, Kareen finished her work, then glanced at the door of Dean’s room which was still closed. ‘Isn’t he hungry? I’d better take him to lunch with him,’ she cried to herself.

Kareen got up from the chair and carried her small bag which was brownish-black in color with trinkets forming a heart. She walked out of her glass-walled room, then walked towards Dean’s room.

Monica who was about to have lunch outside with Hera saw Kareen about to enter Dean’s room. ‘Will she turn into a temptress?’ She thought suspiciously.

“Monica,” Hera called because Monica instead stopped staring at Dean’s room.

“You go to the cafeteria first. I’ll catch up later,” Monica exclaimed without looking at Hera.

Hera, who knew that Monica was Kareen’s spy, nodded in understanding. She immediately walked down the corridor to the elevator, while Monica was about to follow Kareen into Dean’s room.

Her smartphone which was in her small bag rang, Monica had to stop in front of the door and reach into her bag to get her smartphone which she just bought yesterday afternoon. She saw an incoming call via WhatsApp from Raymond. because she was still annoyed at his impudent attitude that kissed his lips he refused the call.

Just as he was about to turn the door handle, her phone rang again. Monica immediately answered the call with annoyance.

“What do you need to call me? I’m busy!”

“Dean, aren’t you going to have lunch?” Kareen asked as she sat down in the chair opposite Dean’s desk.

“I’m not hungry yet,” Dean replied without turning to look at Kareen.

Dean sighed looking at Kareen. “I don’t want anything. come out, I don’t want anyone to misunderstand because it’s just the two of us, even outside all the employees are having lunch in the canteen, in the restaurant….”

“You kicked me out? Why did you turn arrogant like this? Is it because your wife is more attractive, richer, that you ignore me who has always been there for you?” Kareen felt a deep hurt because of Dean’s rejection. “Honey,” Dean called with a smile when he saw Bryana coming. ‘Good thing Kareen is out and Monica is here. if not, she must be jealous and will be angry,’ he thought with relief.

Monica turned to look at Bryan. “Bryana.”

Bryana sat down in the chair right next to Monica. “Just now, why did Kareen come here?”

“We’re just talking about an important matter about the company. She just came out for lunch,” Monica lied.

“Yes, honey. Shall we go straight to the restaurant right now?” Dean asked distracting Bryana.

“Now that’s fine too, you must be hungry too, right?” Bryana turned to look at Monica. “Would you like to join us for lunch, Monica?”

“No, I have an appointment for lunch with Hera. You two are alone,” Monica replied with a smile. She immediately got up from her chair and excused herself to go out.

when Monica was out, Bryana walked over to Dean and sat on his lap. She adjusted her husband’s tie as she said, “I thought you were alone with Kareen, it turns out there was Monica too. I was starting to get restless because I was worried you would be teased by Kareen.”
