Rolling love Chapter 2

Yan Liang tried several times to pull her hand back but failed, the man seemed to have a lazy attitude, but in reality he had great strength.

In any case, Yan Liang could not shake him off, and ultimately could only glare at him: “Let go.”

He just smiled: ” Such brutish behaviour isn’t beautiful .”

“None of your business.”

“You destroyed my good impression of you before, how is this nothing to do with me?”

This man sounded very sincere, but his whole body emitted an aura that was at odds with his voice.

Yan Liang was momentarily speechless, vaguely she was able to hear other footsteps coming near; she was still looking at the face. Her efforts to struggle could not help but bring them close .He seemed to realise this and loosened his grip on her hand.

Footsteps getting closer, Yan Liang looked up to see the person who was coming this way. Looking at him, her eyes widened, her teeth clenched.

Zhou Cheng entered the elevator to see the three were at a stalemate, hesitated, then came forward: “Mr. Jiang, I will accompany you down stairs.”

He looked indifferently as if he was a stranger, his indifference almost carried a hint of contempt: “No, thank you”.

With his head down, he stepped into the elevator, but stopped in the middle and turned back.

He looked at her eyes glaring at him, and inexplicably she felt a chill in her heart.

“Goodbye, rude lady.”

Yan Liang was unable to hold back her angry stare.

At the moment, seeing this, Xu Ziying laughed. Trying to fake consideration, she said: “Yan Liang, you do not have to go with me to see father.”

Yan Liang look at her coldly, turned around and walked towards the ward.

Xu Ziqing stayed in place, but shrugged, and walked towards the same direction.

Zhou Cheng also realised he couldn’t do anything about the strange atmosphere, only patted Xu Ziying’s shoulder to show comfort.

But Xu Ziying looked at the elevator until the elevator door closed. Only then with a strange look she asked Zhou Cheng: “Who is he?”

“…”

“…”

“Jiang Yu Nan.”

Xu Ziqing was immediately stunned.

Yan Liang was about to turn to the elevator when she heard that ,her rapid footsteps also suddenly stopped.

Jiang Yu Nan ……

He was actually Jiang Yu Nan.

Yan Liang was no stranger to the name.

Jiang Yu Nan had served as the Asia Pacific Regional Manager with an international brand before. In two or three years, he had managed to enhance the performance of the region so that sales had doubled, and created a special line for Asian skin. The brand was very popular and become another cash cow for the Corporation.

Is father interested in poaching him as a CEO?

Yan Mu soon heard the news. At the evening meal at home, she was very anxious to ask Yan Liang the details.

Yan Liang buried her head down to eat, she did not want to raise her head. Only vaguely she said: “I only know that he deliberately went to the hospital today to visit the Father, I do not know anything else.”

Yan Mu stopped eating: “If that is so, then how will you fight him?”

“It’s a wise decision for the future of the company, and I feel fine.”

Yan Mu immediately banged down her chopsticks on the table, the sound especially loud.

“What’s with your attitude? Your dad is putting someone over your head for vested interests, how are you not anxious?”

Yan Liang kept her head down; she did not dare to refute her mother’s words.

Yan Mu could see their own benefits so much, but her daughter did not look like she had the heart, she could only direct: “In short, in next Monday’s provisional shareholders meeting, I will take you to Chen Shu, you must oppose this resolution.”

“…”

“Did you not hear me?”

Yan Liang, for no reason, suddenly recalled the image of a pair of eagle like sharp eyes, she tried to dislodge the image from her head. She put down the chopsticks and got up: “I ‘m full.”

Yan Liang was in a complex mood as she participated in the shareholders meeting a few days later.

In order for Father to implement this decision, the shareholders quarrelled, many opposing the decision as they feared for their vested interests if the family management system that was running the company so long was removed

Some people were still sitting on the fence: “Jiang Yu Nan Xu has not yet agreed to the invitation, all this discussion is premature.”

Chen Shu has always been firmly opposed to the decision. And this shareholders meeting, in fact, he was opposed to the attitude of private shareholders together to discuss how to stop the matter coming true.

Chen Shu just put the views to the body, asked: “Yan Liang, what do you think?”

The company’s old shareholders had seen Yan Liang grow up; she had inherited the company’s most orthodox candidates. For the moment they looked at her eyes and calmed down.

Yan Liang faced a dilemma between her inclination and her mother’s will: “I … …”

She had barely spoken when the conference room door was suddenly opened –

the people suspiciously turned to look.

They saw Xu Ziqing pushing a wheelchair and come in. Sitting on the wheelchair was Xu Jinfu .He was looking pretty good.

Yan Liang was also very surprised; she stood up: “Dad.”

Xu Ziqing pushed the wheelchair near the chairman’s seat, Xu Jinfu looked around, slowly saying: “Are you not surprised to see me here?”

Xu Jinfu still had a slight lisp, but his words were quite clear.

The shareholders present had different expressions, as if they had seen a ghost, but no one dared to utter a sound.

Xu Jinfu’s eyes went round the conference table, and ultimately looked with disappointment at Yan Liang: “I’m not dead, and you are already keeping me away and calling a general meeting of shareholders. When I finally die, wont my company be carved up by you?”

Though Xu Jinfu experienced a serious illness, everyone was shocked at his words ,their faces turning white. Xu Jinfu said: “The meeting is over, you can go.” Several shareholders looked at each other, they got up to leave.

Yan Liang got up to leave as well, when her father added: “Yan Liang, you stay.”

Yan Liang glanced at her father and Xu Ziqing behind him. She saw her own father’s look of contempt, and feeling both helpless and angry she said: “I did not intend to participate … …”

Xu Ziqing interrupted Yan Liang: “You do not say a word, do not provoke Dad.”

Still not giving Yan Liang a chance to retort,Xu Ziqing poured a glass of water on the table for her father, she seemed to try to calm his sullen temper : “Dad, don’t be angry, Yan Liang is still young, it is understood that the uncles said a few things, they are afraid of their own interests before the damage … … ”

Obviously, the words of Xu Ziqing were counterproductive –

Xu Jinfu waved his arm ,knocking down the cup of water

Yan Liang was splashed with the hot water.

Yan Liang, not for the first time, admired her half-sister. She had even managed to prepare this cup of hot water in advance for her … …

“Young is not an excuse! Why can you not learn from your sister … …”

Yan Liang bowed her head down to see her white clothes had been soaked in water and were now semi-transparent. She surprised herself, and laughed out, “You’ve never heard my side of the story, but I’m used to it.”

Having said that, she turned around and left.

As she walked out of the conference room, she could feel the people around staring at her and her awkward state.

Yan Liang walked rapidly towards the elevator. The hot water was cooling on her dress. Her heart, too, felt more and more cold. Cold, but she was through.

You have let me down completely……

Xu Jin Fu’s words echoed in her mind.

She looked up, stopped to watch the people around her, who averted their gaze.

At this time, she realised her arm had a red hot blister from the hot water, her clothes were drenched, her underwear clearly visible … … suddenly a strong sense of helplessness overtook her; she did not know what to do.

Yan Liang was rooted to the spot.

As the surrounding noise become more and more lively, she felt more and more small. She should leave.

Suddenly, she felt something heavy on her shoulder.
