Rise of the Great Emperor Chapter 95: Fight!

Chapter 95: Fight!

Bang!

Despite complaining vehemently to its master, Lin Hu was still a loyal beast. It moved swiftly to the raging bird and roared angrily.

The sound of the roar filled the entire area almost immediately. Lin Xiao’s eyes narrowed when he thought about the fact that there were a lot of people who were after him because of the Emperor Inheritance. If those people found Lin Hu too, Lin Xiao knew that he would be dead meat.

Such powerful and legendary beast… who wouldn’t want it?

“I’ll hide.”

Without waiting for Lin Hu’s agreement, Lin Xiao rushed back in the direction of his old house. Lin Hu nearly rolled his eyes but his attention was fully focused on the large bird in front of him. He really itched to give his own master a good beating.

Unfortunately, a contracted beast couldn’t harm their master.

Shriek!

The blue bird beast shrieked loudly and rushed towards Lin Hu at unimaginable speed. It was trying to tear apart Lin Hu’s skinny body into pieces with its beak.

Lin Hu twisted its body. While his current size was smaller than the blue bird beast, he was still more agile and could grabbed the blue bird leg. Afterwards, Lin Hu opened his mouth and chomp the blue bird’s neck angrily.

Shriek!

The blur bird struggled to release itself and then soared into the sky. The sight of two powerful beasts fighting in the sky could be seen even from a distance away. After all, these two beasts were quite considerable big in size.

Shrieks, roar, and everything filled the sky.

Flocks of birds suddenly came rushing in their direction and Lin Hu noticed that Elder Wang had already arrived. With his current strength, he could only hold on the blue bird beast for a while.

With a grin, his body disappeared into thin air.

Shriek!

The blue bird beast was angry when it saw that the dragon had disappeared. At this time, it noticed that there were several people rushing over in its direction from many locations. Without hesitation, it rushed back into the cliff.

It was still shrieking madly as if cursing the person who disturbed it in its peaceful meal.

Tep!

Elder Wang stopped in his track then glanced over in Lin Xiao’s direction. He was standing not far from the house where Lin Xiao was located and sighed in annoyance. His dark face revealed his true thoughts.

“Lin Xiao, are you the one who provoke that bird?”

Lin Xiao scratched the back of his head embarrassingly. “I don’t know what you’re talking about Elder Wang.”

Smack!

Without giving Lin Xiao any chance to escape, Elder Wang hit the brat’s head in indignation. Even an idiot would know that the only reason the dragon suddenly appear was because Lin Xiao summoned it. And the prudent Lin Xiao would not summon something that was so eye catching if not because his life was in danger.

“Do you think I’m blind?!”

“That’s emergency!”

“Stupid!” Elder Wang felt like crying. The promise that Lin Xiao made to him regarding how this little brat was going to become the great emperor seemed to be so far etched. With this brat mischievousness, would it be possible for him to become a responsible emperor much less great emperor?

He wanted to smack this brat again.

Why did the Heaven choose such a brat, ah?!

“Go back into the cave no matter…”

“Got it.”

Elder Wang was stunned when he saw Lin Xiao rushed into the river. It was then he recalled that Lin Xiao did tell him that the river was connected to the cave inside through a passage. He sighed and looked up.

His eyes narrowed.

‘So many people have come. This place will surely become a battlefield.’

At this point of time, Elder Wang had no intention of showing himself and attracted trouble. There were some people who also knew his real identity as Associate Elder and also the previous emperor’s disciple.

Everyone who followed the Emperor had sworn an oath that they would protect the kingdom no matter what. However, it was inevitable that they would be biased towards some powerful figure. Some of them would surely chose the princes but some others would rather stay neutral.

Elder Wang was thinking of staying neutral at first, but the previous Emperor had told them that it didn’t matter if they wanted to support whichever prince. But they had to follow the Emperor chosen by the Heaven if that person ever appear.

It was always the norm.

But after finding the person… Elder Wang honestly doubted his eyes and his judgement. He really couldn’t understand how someone like Lin Xiao, who was so obnoxious, could be chosen by the Heaven.

‘Forget it.’

Swiftly, Elder Wang returned to the cave and protected the entire place. He knew that the outside area would become a brutal battlefield, so he hoped that this little mountain would be out of their range.
