Rise of the Great Emperor Chapter 403: The Arena Battles (Chapter 5)

Chapter 403: The Arena Battles (5)

Fan Ling was now fired up. Looking at how Fan Ling was excited to beat up people, Lin Yun was utterly speechless. He could only sigh and reminded Fan Ling to be careful.

Lin Xiao sighed and looked at Prince Lin San who was watching from the side. From time to time, his eyes would turn golden, the mark that show he was actually using his ability to inspect the students there.

As someone who didn’t have much advantage in fight, Prince Lin San’s advantage came from the fact that he would be able to easily found his opponents’ weakness. It was why when dealing with him, they had to defeat him fast.

If he found a loophole, they would be doomed.

“Don’t you want to fight too, Third Brother?”

“But of course!”

Unlike Lin Xiao and the others who only aimed for the rest, Prince Lin San immediately challenged those at higher position. He was already at rank 900 something, so now he challenged someone who was at rank 447.

The student looked at Prince Lin San. He cupped his fist. “To be challenged by Your Highness, it’s my honor.”

“Let’s start.”

“Yes.”

The referee was looking at the two of them then he waved his hand, instructing for the battle to begin.

Swish!

The young man didn’t hesitate at all as he moved towards Prince Lin San. His eyes gleamed with ruthlessness as he moved swiftly. From the very moment, his punch directly aimed towards Prince Lin San’s abdomen.

Prince Lin San was still smiling as usual before his body suddenly jerked. His eyes were gleaming in gold color and afterwards, he waved his sleeve in extremely casual manner.

Slash!

But the young man didn’t think that it was casual at all because he could see that there was a new gash on his shoulder. The wound was deep enough to cause him bleed but not enough to stop the fight.

“You…” The young man then swiftly moved once more. This time, several knives suddenly appeared in his hand before he threw it towards Prince Lin San’s direction. At the same time, fire suddenly sparked from the ground and also on the surface of the knives.

Each of the knives were heading towards vital point of Prince Lin San.

But those who were watching were not worried at all. Sneak attack was the most useless type of attack when facing Prince Lin San. With his Eyes of Truth, he could definitely tell if someone wanted to sneak attack at him and thought of the best countermeasure at the shortest time possible.

Thus…

Peng! Peng! Peng!

All of the knives stopped midair as if there was some kind of barrier blocking them. This move was the defensive move that Prince Lin San was most proficient in.

Air Dragon Shield.

It could effectively block attack as long as it was not above his win manipulation ability. It was also thanks to this ability of his that he managed to stay alive in many of his life and death battle in the arena.

The student was still punching forward as his fist was covered in flames.

But unfortunately.

Swish! Slash!

Prince Lin San easily used his Air Dragon Shield to push the punch to the side while he moved to the other side. At the same time, his sleeve rushed forward.

Air Dragon Shield!

Dragon Sleeve Sword!

The two skills were used almost simultaneously and the student was unable to block it in time. The sword nearly cut off his arms as it cut deep gash on his hand, reaching his bone. Blood flowed out like a waterfall while the youth decisively stepped back, his eyes reflected fear.

“I give up!”

“Huh, you retreated quite fast.” Prince Lin San looked at the youth and nodded before laughed faintly. He then stretched his hand then looked at the referee.

“Prince Lin San win the battle. His rank is now 447.”

After it was announced, Prince Lin San didn’t even bother to stay even a second longer on the arena as he jumped down. Today was the last day of the arena battles. In truth, the so called arena battles would only last for three days but the last day was always so fierce.

Sometimes, the result could even change so swiftly that no one could believe it.

“That person aim to kill you,” Lin Xiao said in solemn tone.

“I know.”

“Why?”

“He’s from Prince Lin Bo Wang’s faction.” Lu Jian was the one to answer the question. He looked at Lin Xiao with a bitter smile. “Do you not properly investigate the seniors before you come here?”

“….No.”

Where in the world would Lin Xiao even have the time and energy to investigate the seniors? There were thousands of them and he was not someone who was good at searching for information. Rather than torturing himself, it would be better for him to spend his time training.

Prince Lin San let out a laugh. “Don’t worry, I’m only here to create some troubles for them. After all, they’re also seeking trouble for us.”

“Hmm.” Lin Xiao arched his eyebrows before he nodded faintly. That seemed to be the case. Prince Lin Fei and Prince Lin Bo Wang were the two most likely people to obtain the position of Crown Prince. With him appearing out of nowhere, it was clear that they would be searching for trouble.

“But it’ll be good for you if you have good relationship with some other princes.” Prince Lin San looked at Lin Xiao helplessly. He and his two brothers definitely couldn’t do everything by themselves.

“The other princes?” Lin Xiao was speechless. It was then he recalled that the current Sun Dragon have more than 100 princes…

How in the world was he supposed to build good connection with those people? Just the thought that he would have to spend a long of time to talk with them already make him have a headache.

“This… do you have any good idea?”
