Rise of the Great Emperor Chapter 193: Attracting Attention

Chapter 193: Attracting Attention

Su Luo nodded in satisfaction and began her explanation. She was starting from the very basic that everyone should have known. However, some of them did come from a very remote place and naturally didn’t have much knowledge.

The classes didn’t last for a long time but what Su Luo told them gave them a lot to ponder with.

Lin Xiao was looking at the image at the board and thought about it. Aside from Qi, what was important for them was to train their mental energy. However, there was no clear method for them to train it and many said that it couldn’t be trained aside from their life experiences.

However, some cultivators believed that by using images like the one at the board, they could enhance their mental capabilities.

“Is it really possible?” Lin Xiao asked in confusion.

“I don’t know.” Sui Wenyan was helpless. She also had never heard about it before. “Maybe? I never heard about it before.”

“We can try?”

“Don’t bother. You should just focus on training your circulation and control. I don’t want to clean up the mess of your destruction again, Brother.” Lin Yun rolled his eyes. His brother couldn’t even control his increase of strength and wanted to learn other things? Did he want to stay unable to control his strength like that?

Lin Xiao’s lips twitched and he chose to stay silent. It seemed that he needed to learn how to wield his power better first.

Su Luo looked at the students before her. “There’s no need for you to figure out about this mental state training for now. What you need to figure out for now is how to make sure that you can train. There’s a testing place for you to test your mental state outside and if you’re curious, you can try the test at any time.”

This made many students’ eyes lit up. They were certainly very interested in the test.

“Alright, since all of you want to try the test, let’s go out and do the test. There are four testing equipment, so you can separate yourselves into four groups.”

The students all got out of the class in orderly manner. They knew that Su Luo had little patience based on the way she spoke, but when she was in good mood, they would be fine. Everyone walked to the special field and saw four stairs. Each stair had 10 steps and many were looking at it with interest.

“The stair is similar to the one you see back then when you take the test. However, you won’t walk on your own and instead wake up every time an illusion is over. Since you have passed the test back then, you should be able to pass the first steps. As for how far you can do, that’ll depend on your mental state.”

“Ooh.”

“Alright, you can all try one by one.”

“Yes!”

They all began to move to four groups and did the test. Lin Xiao was looking at the testing stair with interest when he heard the voice of Lin Hu inside him.

‘Even if you have the confidence, don’t try the second steps.’

‘EH, Why?’

‘Passing one steps is the normal mental state for Body Training. In front of so many people here, you’re going to attract too many attentions if you try more than one steps. It’s best if you just stay at one step.’

Lin Xiao sighed and then looked in the direction of the two princes. Right now, the two of them were looking at each other as they attempted the stairs. It was clear that they were trying to compete.

“How many stairs do you think they can reach?” Lin Yun asked curiously.

“How do I know?” Lin Xiao rolled his eyes.

Swish!

Prince Lin Kai was the first to leap back from the stairs. He furrowed his brows as he was kicked out when he was testing the second stairs. It seemed that the stairs was not for nothing.

“He’s out.”

“Prince Lin Kai can only pass the first stair, just like most of us.”

“Yeah, nothing special.”

Prince Lin Kai felt his face burned when he heard the commotion behind him. He snorted and turned his body around before he glanced in the direction of the other stair. Prince Lin Hong had one leg at the first step and one leg at the second steps. Before long, his two legs stepped on the second step then he used one leg to step on the third step.

Instantly, Prince Lin Kai felt his face turned extremely black.

Damn it!

Swish!

On the third step, Prince Lin Hong didn’t last long and got kicked out. Beads of sweat poured on his face, but he felt smug. He glanced to the side where Princess Xiao Yue was standing. While she did move to the north area, she was still a first year, so she had to attend the basic classes like the others.

The princess smiled when she saw the look that Prince Lin Hong gave to her. She slowly stepped onto the stairs and many eyes looked in her direction.

“What steps do you think she can reach?”

“She’s known as a genius, so don’t you think that she’ll be able to reach very far in her steps?”

“Maybe the same as Prince Lin Hong?”

“Second steps? That’s possible. They’re about the same age, aren’t they?”

Hearing the people were talking about Prince Lin Hong and Princess Xiao Yue, Prince Lin Kai’s mood worsened. He felt as if he was not worth talking when they were talking about the others.

Damn it!

Why did he had to be so lacking when it was compared to Prince Lin Hong? He hated this.

Everyone’s eyes were glued to the stairs except for the other three who were also trying their luck in their test. There were a total of four places and those who got their turn couldn’t watch the fun.

“Brother, what do you think?”
