Rise of the Great Emperor Chapter 10: Making A Deal

Chapter 10: Making A Deal

“Yin attribute body?” Lin Yun blinked his eyes in confusion.

Lin Xiao was even more speechless. “Aren’t men who have Yin attribute body can’t cultivate? My brother is perfectly fine!”

“No, you got it wrong. The one who can’t cultivate is if you have Yin body constitution and not attribute,” Wenren Yu hurriedly try to fix Lin Xiao’s wrong perception. He knew that many people thought that these two were similar, but in fact, it was completely different.

“It’s different?”

“Yes, it’s completely different…” Wenren Yu proceeded to explain carefully about the two of them.

Male with Yin body constitution and female with Yang body constitution would never be able to cultivate in their entire life. It was because the constitution in their body would completely reject any attempt they made to cultivate.

But on the opposite, female with Yin body constitution and male with Yang body constitution would be the best. They would be able to advance much faster and have much more formidable martial arts.

Attribute meant that their body nature was leaning to one’s side, but it wouldn’t completely affect them. Lin Yun only have Yin attribute body, which would instead hinder him because he’s male. If he was born a woman, it was clear that he would have become an outstanding martial artist.

“That means, because of my body attribute, I can’t cultivate properly?” Lin Yun asked with quivered voice.

All this time, he had been wondering why he couldn’t get stronger no matter how much medicine he drank. Now that he knew the reason, he wanted to laugh and scream. Just why would someone like him got this accursed attribute.

“Is there any method to cure it?” Lin Xiao asked.

Wenren Yu nodded. “He just need to sleep with a woman who had Yang attribute body.”

“…”

“…You mean, he needs a manly woman?”

“NO! Female with Yang attribute didn’t mean that they’re going to turn manly. They’re only more valiant and usually reckless,” Wenren Yu hurriedly corrected them of their mistake. He felt that he was teaching two little brats who didn’t even know that getting too close with fire was dangerous.

Lin Xiao nodded. “How do I find one? Should I kidnap her and….”

“Brother, please don’t.”

“I’m just joking.”

Lin Yun sighed. He felt that his brother’s eyes were not kidding but instead serious. “Any other method? I don’t want to have to rely on a woman to be able to cure my condition.”

While it was not something weird for man to have several women, he wanted to avoid that situation if possible. If he ended up falling for a woman who didn’t have Yang attribute body, it would be a complete torture for him.

Wenren Yu shook his head. “Complete recovery is not possible, but there are some Yang attribute plants that can help you.”

“Can you list it?”

“Sure.”

Before long, Wenren Yu came up with a list of 28 herbs that he knew would be able to help Lin Yun. Unfortunately….

“Wenren Yu, do you want to kill me?” Lin Xiao asked. Every single herb inside this list worth at least a gold coin. For someone like him who could only earn a few copper coins in a month, it would mean that he had to work for decades.

Finding them in the wilderness would be even more difficult because each of the plant was located in an extremely dangerous place. There was hardly anyone who would want to go there and tested their luck if they were not desperate.

Wenren Yu was helpless. “Even if you ask other doctors out there, their answer will be the same. For the time being, I’ll be able to concoct better medicine for your brother to relieve his symptoms.”

“How much better?”

“At least, he would be able to come out when it’s day time without feeling cold.”

“That’s not bad.”

Wenren Yu beamed. “Then, I can stay here, right?”

“Sure.”

“Thank you!”

Lin Xiao smiled and then pointed to the courtyard. “By the way, do you know any other skill other than Mountain’s Punch?”

“Uhm, outer disciple at rank 6 can only learn 1 martial art skill,” Wenren Yu said in embarrassment. He felt like he was exposing that he had only learned one skill from the time he joined Taiyi Sect until now.

Lin Xiao was stunned for a moment. “Well, how about if we train together? I’m sure that I’m not that bad.”

“Ah?”

“Don’t want to?”

“How about if I check your health first?” Wenren Yu offered.

“Me? I’m perfectly healthy,” Lin Xiao said in confusion. He extended his hand and let Wenren Yu examined his pulse.

As Wenren Yu took Lin Xiao’s pulse, he could feel that there was poison seeped deep within Lin Xiao’s bones and meridian. It completely blocked some path, which prevented the Qi to flow properly. Furrowing his brows, Wenren Yu was even more astonished by the fact that Lin Xiao could still train even with his body in this condition.

‘And the composition of the poison… isn’t it all holy herbs that can even work against sacred beast?’

Raising his head, he could see the nonchalant Lin Xiao. Feeling that it would be useless even if he told this young man about his body’s condition, he chose to swallow the words that he wanted to say. There was no way that this young man could have any relation with the sacred beast.

“You’re a bit malnourished. It’ll be better for me to give you some medicine.”

“What?” Lin Xiao protested.

Lin Yun nudged his brother with a knowing expression. It was as if he wanted to tell his brother that the latter should have been eating properly from young.

“Tsk, fine.”

“Don’t worry, it’s not bitter.”

“I’M NOT A KID WHO’LL BE WORRYING ABOUT THAT!”
