Chapter 811: M.Uni Announcing Two Pieces of News

Zi Yi remained lying there and blinked her pretty eyes as she said, “The babies are saying that their Mom is hungry and can’t move.”

The corners of Lu Jingye’s lips curved up. He sat down and pulled her up to lean into his embrace. While helping her put on her clothes, he said, “The food is being kept warm in the kitchen for you.”

Having said that, a large palm covered her stomach and he asked in her ears, “Are the babies hungry?”

Zi Yi nodded with a serious expression. “Yes they’re hungry.”

The smile on Lu Jingye’s face deepened and he continued helping her with her clothes.

Zi Yi raised her arm cooperatively as she asked, “Are you going to be busy today?”

“Mhmm. I have to prepare for our aerospace company next.”

“On the piece of land from the Dongfang Family?”

“No. That’s just the R&D center for spare parts. I plan to open the aerospace company in the Northwest.”

“Has the higher-ups approved of it?”

“I will submit the application in the following days.”

Zi Yi thought about it and thought of someone. “My Eldest Uncle is an astronomer. Why don’t we find a way to get him into our company?”

Lu Jingye chuckled. “Eldest Uncle is working in the National Astronomy Research Center and no matter what, you still have to see if he’s willing to change jobs or not.”

Zi Yi nodded her head. “In any case, it’s still early. It’ll take at least half a year for our aerospace company to be built. I’ll then make a list of energy companies who can create the special building materials.”

“Ok.”

While talking, Lu Jingye finished helping her put on her clothes.

Zi Yi finished putting on her pants and got down from the bed to wash up.

After she finished eating, it was almost 11 a.m.

Lu Jingye continued working as he sat on the sofa. Zi Yi pulled out the virtual screen and quickly wrote down all kinds of mineral elements she needed for the building materials.

At around 3 p.m., Zi Yi received a call from Mrs. Lu. She was asking if they would be coming home for dinner tonight.

Zi Yi agreed to it even without thinking.

Both of them packed their belongings and returned to the Lu Family’s villa.

Unexpectedly, Lu Jianlin had yet to return.

Mrs. Lu said to them, “Your Father mentioned that there are some things to settle with the higher-ups and he will be coming back later tonight. We don’t have to wait for him.”

While the three of them were having dinner, Mrs. Lu helped Zi Yi with some dishes and asked, “You two are really going back to your villa near M.Uni to stay?”

Zi Yi could see that Mrs. Lu was reluctant to part with them and she said with a smile, “If Mom can’t bear to part with us, you can also come to stay at our villa near M.Uni. You can stay in the courtyard or the villa.” The main thing was that she had to spare two hours every night to conduct experiments. Otherwise, she would have stayed here with Mrs. Lu.

Mrs. Lu also smiled. “I do want to go with you two, but unfortunately, M.Uni is too far from your Father’s place of work.”

Zi Yi thought about it. “In that case, Mom, you can come to our villa in the morning and come back home at night.”

“The both of you will be busy and so can I even see you two if I go there?”

Zi Yi was unable to answer her.

Mrs. Lu smiled and picked up some more food from the dishes to put into Zi Yi’s bowl. “I also have to start doing work in the following days, so I’ll be busy. I’ll be happy as long as you two come back home during the weekends.”

Zi Yi nodded her head and said, “Ok.”

After dinner, Zi Yi accompanied Mrs. Lu for a walk while Lu Jingye continued to be busy with his work.

Lu Jianlin didn’t come back until after 8 p.m. and when he came back, Third Master Lu was tagging along.

At the sight of Zi Yi and Lu Jingye seated a small distance away, Third Master Lu said, “That’s great. Little Lu and Little Zi are both around.”

Mrs. Lu quickly called out to him, “Third Brother, come take a seat.”

The both of them sat down and Mrs. Lu got the helper to serve them tea.

Third Master Lu looked at Zi Yi and Lu Jingye before he said, “Country A recently released news that they will be conducting military exercises in the Pacific Ocean for half a month. These past two years, Country A has been too ambitious and we have had no choice but to take precautions. The higher-ups have also received news that they will be active near our territorial waters. I will be leaving for the Southern Ocean tonight.”

Zi Yi and Lu Jingye listened to him and did not say anything.

Third Master Lu had come back together with Lu Jianlin. The both of them had originally planned to discuss the matter of Third Master Lu heading to the Southern Ocean and so, after he gave Zi Yi and Lu Jingye a simple run down, he started discussing it with Lu Jianlin.

“I will be leading a fleet to patrol in the inland sea this time. If they dare to approach, don’t blame me for being rude!” Third Master Lu said with pride and ambition

However, Lu Jianlin furrowed his brow. “Our country’s navy fleet is still lacking compared to Country A’s. Don’t engage in a head-on fight with them.”

Third Master Lu had a rash personality and Lu Jianlin was afraid that he might act impulsively.

“I know, I know. I received a military order this time round and I won’t fight them straight on.”

Having said that, he turned to look at Zi Yi with a particularly amicable expression. “Little Zi, I know you are good at long-range interception. Can you help me transform the weapons and interceptors of the fleet?”

After Third Master Lu asked that question, Lu Jianlin and Lu Jingye turned to look at Zi Yi.

They did not suggest anything and clearly, they wanted her to make her own decisions.

Zi Yi lowered her eyes and thought for a moment. “I’ll get one of my robots to follow you. He will help you with the transformation.”

“Really?” Third Master Lu was extremely surprised. “Your robot is that capable?”

“It’s not that the robots are capable. But I will control the robot remotely from here.”

“Oh, oh.” Third Master Lu was relieved. He nodded his head and said, “That works. I’ll be setting off at midnight later. You can get your robot to follow me then.”

Zi Yi called out, “Shadow IV.”

Shadow IV appeared and said, “Master.”

“Follow my Third Uncle to the Southern Ocean to transform the ship’s weapons and interceptors.”

“Yes.”

Shadow IV immediately turned invisible after answering.

Third Master Lu widened his eyes in shock and acted as though he was someone who had not seen the outside world before. “Where’s Little Zi’s robot?”

“He turned invisible. He will become visible when you set off and follow you all the way.”

Having said that, Lu Jingye then spoke again. “Third Uncle, you can give Shadow IV an identity when he comes with you.”

“What identity? A technician?”

“That should be ok.”

Third Master Lu had his own things he needed to still do, He did not stay for long and left soon after.

…

The next day, everyone started to become busier.

Without her realizing, today was the day for the school to reopen.

For M.Uni students, the start of school was something worth being happy about. They could immerse themselves in knowledge and questions, and more importantly, they could see the M.Uni’s god and goddess.

However, M.Uni announced two pieces of news as soon as the school started.

The first thing. Zi Yi will be directly advancing to become a graduate student.

The second thing. The President of the Student Union, Nangong Yu will be going abroad for an internship for at least a year, due to study needs. Therefore, he had already resigned as the President of the Student Union.

The moment these two pieces of news were released, the M.Uni’s school forum exploded.

“Oh no… Won’t it be very difficult for us to see the god and goddess of M.Uni in the future?”

“The goddess is indeed the goddess. She directly advanced to graduate school after her first semester in First Year. She must be the first and the only student to do this in our school.”

“I wonder if I’ll be able to see her at school in the future. Why didn’t M.Uni announce which professor she would be under at the same time?”

“Wuuu… why did my male god leave just like that? It’s only been a winter vacation that we were away and now I feel that my sky is collapsing.”

“Who has the ability to take up the Student Union’s president position? Even if President Nangong does step down, it should be the goddess who takes up the position.”

“I think so too.”

…

No matter how reluctant everyone felt, their studies still had to continue.
