Chapter 643: This Brat Had Actually Dared To Steal the Flower I Planted For My Wife To Gift Someone Else! He’s too Much!

On the other side

Zi Yi chewed on the pork ribs while she headed to the military dogs’ training camp.

When she arrived at the iron fence outside the training camp, she saw several of the military dogs lying low in front of three trainers as they whined. From the looks of it, it seemed as if they were acting cute and it also looked like they were complaining.

Instructor Li touched the head of one of the military dogs and said with a smile, “It’s fine, Little Zi’s technique is pretty good. You look stylish despite being bald on your heads here and you all still look as handsome as usual.

Aoo…

The military dogs clearly did not have the same opinion and they all looked as if they were about to die from embarrassment.

Zi Yi laughed gloatingly at the sight of the scene.

The three instructors and a few of the military dogs turned around at the sound of her laughter.

In the next second, a few military dogs started barking at her fiercely.

Zi Yi looked over and laughed while waving the pork rib in her hands. “I also think that the shave looks handsome on you.”

The response Zi Yi got in return was a furious one. Bark! Bark! Bark!

Instructor Li smiled and walked over in large strides to open the gate for Zi Yi and she entered while munching on the pork rib.

Several of the military dogs who had received a shave from her made a dash in her direction.

When the other two instructors saw them rushing towards Zi Yi, they got a fright and hastily shouted to stop them, “Overlord, Sunny, Xiaowu, Flying Tiger, Fox! Come back!”

Instructor Li also got a fright. Just as he turned around and wanted to stop them, he heard Zi Yi speak. “It seems like you wish to be fully bald dogs.”

Zi Yi’s voice was not loud, but the military dogs had heard her.

When they were about a meter away from Zi Yi, they stepped on the breaks and stared at her fiercely.

Zi Yi smiled with her eyes curved into crescent moons and returned their gaze.

After maintaining eye contact for a few seconds, she took another bite of the pork rib again.

The military dogs started to salivate, without an ounce of their former backbones to be seen.

The other two instructors did not know whether to laugh or cry. The three instructors made eye contact and Instructor Li hinted to them to not be anxious to talk.

Sometime later, the military dogs’ gazes shifted to the pork rib in Zi Yi’s hands and their saliva flowed even more.

The way Zi Yi ate it made it seem so delicious and tasty. Coupled with how the braised pork rib was so fragrant, the military dogs started whining like children.

Zi Yi waved the pork rib in front of them.

The gaze of several dogs was following the pork rib around.

Zi Yi took it back and took another large bite before she asked, “Do you want to eat it?”

Aooo…

Yes! Yes!

“Then do you think that the shave I gave you looks good?”

The military dogs remained silent.

The three instructors were amused by Zi Yi and the military dog’s interactions.

Instructor Li said, “The taste of braised pork ribs is too strong and they can’t eat them usually. But it’s a holiday today and the higher-ups had given out some welfare. There is plenty of meat for them.”

Aooo~

The military dogs jumped around excitedly like children.

Zi Yi also smiled. “Then I’ll help you carry the dog food.”

She then finished the last piece of meat on the bone before throwing it into the trash bin and followed Instructor Li to collect the dog food.

On the way to collect the food, Instructor Li asked, “Student Zi, why have you come here?”

He suddenly recalled that it was New Year’s Day and he asked with a smile, “How long is your holiday for New Year’s?”

Just as Zi Yi was pondering over how she was to answer his question. However, she then heard his subsequent question and answered that instead, “Three days.”

Instructor Li nodded his head and said, “Then you can spend more time playing with them later. They have all missed you a lot ever since you left.”

Military dogs were very intelligent and Instructor Li had also spent time with them often and so, he knew of their thoughts.

“In a few more days, quite a number of the military dogs will be dispatched for a mission. They must be very happy that you have come to accompany them today.”

Zi Yi nodded her head and said, “Alright, I will spend more time with them.”

When they made their way back to the military camp, the few military dogs who were complaining just earlier had returned to the training ground located at the back. Currently, they were all seated in line with the other military dogs as they queued. There was also a large dog bowl in front of them and they were clearly waiting for the food to be served.

After Zi Yi and the three instructors distributed the dog food, they stood by the side and watched them eat.

The three instructors told Zi Yi about some interesting things these military dogs had done during training.

Zi Yi laughed uncontrollably at their stories.

This caused the military dogs who were part of the story to feel that their food tasted bland.

After they finished their food, all of them had 30 minutes of free time.

Zi Yi stood there and watched them play. After spectating for some time, she saw Fox and Feihu running in her direction with one in the front and the other at the back.

Looking at the two who seemed to be sneaking around, Zi Yi somehow thought of the scene where Feihu tried to scare her with a cauliflower snake during the military training.

Zi Yi narrowed her eyes and looked at them.

After the two dogs came closer, sure enough, Fox who was blocking Feihu had moved to the side, revealing Feihu who had something in his mouth.

Feihu threw the item next to Zi Yi’s feet and maintained a distance of three meters away from Zi Yi together with Fox. They squatted down and looked at her.

Zi Yi looked at the small flower next to her feet and felt touched. She bent down to pick up the flower and asked, “Where did you pluck this flower? It’s really pretty!”

Feihu and Fox were both very happy and they even jumped up and down on the same spot several times.

The three instructors standing by the side had also smiled as they watched the scene fold out.

“Feihu usually looks cheeky and to think that he would know to give Student Zi a flower… but then why does that flower look so familiar?”

“Haha, isn’t that the flower you said you were raising to give to your wife?”

“Ugh… it’s indeed that flower. That brat actually dared to steal the flower I planted for my wife to give to someone else?! He’s too much!”

“Student Zi and Feihu are comrades who have gone through a life and death situation with each other. Just turn a blind eye to it~”

“I hope that all of them will be able to return safe and sound during this mission. Perhaps one day Student Zi will be free and come over to visit them again.”

Speaking of this, the three instructors turned silent.

Even though they were worried, the duty of military dogs was similar to them, where they had to defend the country. Thus, they should go on a mission whenever there was one.

Zi Yi stayed in the military dog training camp for nearly an hour and it was Lu Jingye who personally came over to fetch her.

Some of the military dogs barked at her when she was leaving.

Zi Yi waved at them and said, “I’ll come to see you again when I have time during my holidays.”

The military dogs were elated. All of them stood near the iron fence and sent them off.

Zi Yi ate lunch in the training camp and left afterwards.

Before they left, Lu Jingye said to Leader Zhang, “If there are no accidents, I will still be responsible for your supplies. However, I will no longer represent the Lu Group in the future.”

Leader Zhang was happy to hear that Lu Jingye was still in charge, but what Lu Jingye said in the end caused him to turn silent. He patted Lu Jingye’s shoulders and comforted him. “Little Lu, don’t be sad. Even if you are no longer the CEO of the Lu Group, you will still earn tons of money wherever you go. You are the god of wealth in our hearts.”

Zi Yi could not help but laugh at his words.

She then thought of something and said to Leader Zhang, “Do give additional portions to the dogs next time. While I was chewing on the pork rib, all of them were so hungry that their saliva was spilling out.”

Leader Zhang smiled and promised her. “No problem!”

Zi Yi, Lu Jingye, and Lu Yunxiao headed back to the mountains. Looking at the three of their back views, Leader Zhang stroked his jaw and said cheerfully, “How great that they are well!”

He had been downcast for several days upon hearing the news of their car accident.

By the time they returned to the secret base, it was already around 4 p.m. in the afternoon.

The skies in the mountains turned dark early. However, as it was still snowing, the whole place was still bright.

Their return was timely and it was just right on time for dinner if they directly headed to the canteen now.
