She could only take his watch off for now.

She saw that there was nowhere suitable for her to place it. Thus, she used her hair tie to bind it onto the side of the first-aid kit.

When a small layer of water formed on the surface of the watch, she directly licked it.

At the very least, it would ease some of her thirst.

Countless little droplets formed on the surface of the watch. It eventually eased the painful dryness in her throat.

Three hours later, the bottle was nearly filled with water.

It was a pity that the bottle was too small. It could barely contain a hundred millimeters of water.

She reached for the bottle and drank half of it thirstily.

It was only fifty millimeters of water, yet the water was half gone.

She did not feel significantly better.

She truly wanted to finish the remaining water. However, the fog was lifting and the rising sun reflected against the surface of the water.

No more water droplets would form.

Fang Xinxin returned the watch to Bai Qinghao’s wrist.

She then brought the surgical knife out of the bottle, placing it back into the first aid kit. Finally, she tucked her hairpin back into her hair.

She closed the lid of the bottle and kept the remaining water into the first aid kit.

She would feed it to Bai Qinghao when he woke up.

Originally, with his watch guiding them, if they swam towards the north, they could have headed to their original destination: the Mo Jia La Island.

Unfortunately, it had been twenty-four hours since she last slept and she did not have the strength to swim. They could only drift along the surface of the water.

The sky was an azure blue, much like the surface of the water. The line which separated the sky and the ocean was sparkling with the reflection of the sunrise and it made for a stunning sight.

A cold wave of ocean breeze blew by and it startled her awake.

If the time and location were more appropriate, she would definitely have paused to appreciate the scene.

Just a moment ago, the waves had been calm. Right now, however, the waves were powerful and it left their hair soaked.

Another powerful wave swept past.

She had predicted that it would submerge them beneath the water. Thus, she took a deep breath in and held her breath while reaching out to pinch Bai Qinghao’s nose. She needed to ensure he would not choke.

Both of them were brought twenty meters beneath the surface.

Thankfully, his life jacket quickly brought them back to the surface. The first aid kit also quickly floated upwards.

As the first aid kit was waterproof, she did not worry that the items would be damaged.

She had tied herself to him with his shirt and quickly floated up with him.

When their heads emerged from the surface, she quickly took in a deep breath .She also released his nose to allow him to breathe.

He barely reacted despite the powerful wave from earlier…

Fang Xinxin could not help but worry. She was deeply fearful that he would die.

Thankfully, when she brought her hand beneath his nose, she found that he was breathing weakly.

Everything was well as long as he was alive.

If he died, she would also give up all hopes of living.

He was seriously injured. Still, she understood that whatever consciousness he had left, he was using it to protect her and to take care of her.

Even earlier, when he had taken off his life jacket while the shark made the move to bite him.

She knew very well that he was afraid she would drown to death without a life jacket. He had hoped she would be lucky enough to find that life jacket after he died. At the very least, it would increase her chance of survival.

Thankfully, she had been right by his side and immediately retrieved that life jacket.

They had overcome even the most dangerous moment. She absolutely would not allow them to die here!

She wasn’t sure when they would find land.

Their survival was dependent on the small amount of water they could collect and the piece of shark meat they had in the first aid kit.

In order to prevent the meat from spoiling, she brought it out when the water was calm to dry it..
