Rebirth: Pampered Wife’s Counterattack Chapter 668 – Relentless Efforts

Chapter 668: Relentless Efforts

She leaned close to Fang Xinxin’s ear to whisper. “Let me tell you, I even stripped naked and waited for him on the bed, yet all he did was scold me for being shameless. He then left in a fit of anger. After all this time, nothing has happened between the two of us.”

This left Fang Xinxin feeling just as helpless. “My dear, I really wish I could push you into my brother’s arms.”

“I wish for the same.” Sun Jiamu’s expression was pitiful. “But it seems like he isn’t the slightest bit attracted to me. He always maintains a good distance between himself and all the women around him. I can’t help but suspect if he is gay?”

“Don’t worry about it. He absolutely isn’t.” Fang Xinxin responded firmly. “I can guarantee that my brother is attracted to women.”

Sun Jiamu sighed as she sat down before her office desk. She rested her chin on her hands. “At times, I really envy you siblings. Your relationship is really good.”

“Since young, my brother has always doted on me dearly.”

“Xinxin, your brother really trusts you very much.” Sun Jiamu analysed. “Financially, Hua Feng Finance Company has stabilised and is prospering. Yet, the ownership of this company still belongs to you. Recently, he purchased the seventh, eighth, ninth and tenth storey of this building and all of these were done in your name. If it was me, if I had any siblings, I wouldn’t have dared to do the same. After all, legally this indicates that both the company and the offices don’t belong to me.”

Fang Xinxin patted her on the shoulder. “I won’t betray my brother’s trust.”

Sun Jiamu watched her apologetically. “Xinxin, I’m sorry. I actually thought about persuading your brother to transfer the ownership back to his name. I only gave up because I was afraid it would make him unhappy. After all, you are the future Madam Bai. If you marry Bai Qinghao, you’ll become a family with him. Although the Bai family would never pay any attention to a small company like ours, it’s still better for him…”

“I can tell from your thoughts that you have his welfare in mind.” Fang Xinxin comforted her. “Don’t worry too much about the ownership of the company and the offices. There are some things that my brother hasn’t told you yet. My brother started this company back when he was on bail for medical reasons. As his crimes had yet to be cleared and he was still a criminal, it wasn’t suitable for him to start a company in his own name. That is why he borrowed my identity to do so. I also gave my brother nine million dollars to start his business. Although I tried to give it to him, my brother insisted he would only be borrowing it. Ever since his company began making profits, he has returned both the interest and the original sum to me. Although his company is now successful, he is a very sentimental person. I am his only living relative. For the sake of thanking me, he purchased the four floors of offices under my name. I’m sure he is trying to tell me that he values me as a sister very much.”

“No wonder.” Sun Jiamu finally understood. “I was still confused about how he had the money to start a company in the first place. Of course, I did guess that you could have been helping him.”

“He is my only brother. If I don’t help him, who will?” Fang Xinxin’s tone was slightly heavy. “Jiamu, though my father is in a coma, I at least have one living blood relative in this world. In that way, you could say that my heart has a home.”

She continued softly. “But my brother is different. He really is an orphan.”

“You know of his birth background?” A hint of surprise flashed past Sun Jiamu’s eyes.
